Every time we’ve visited the food has always been fantastic! On our most recent we had the summer set 3 course menu for the first time and we weren’t disappointed. Everything was presently highly and tasted extremely fresh. Would recommend The Lime Tree as a great place to visit for delicious food.
We came for lunch yesterday and would recommend this resteraunt! We had fish and chips with a glass of Prosecco, from the lunch menu. Reasonably priced and delicious fish in a feather light batter. Lovely!
I started with the Mill workers lunch, chicken liver parfait, Lancashire cheese, pickles, bread – the ingredients were good quality, with especially tasty chutneys. More bread for the amount of pate would have been nice.

A nice fine dining restaurant with absolutely delicious food. We visited the restaurant for lunch and it was an amazing experience. There are various options for both vegetarian and non vegetarians. The portions were really good. Above all we were welcomed and served by really warm and courteous staff. We would definitely recommend.

The Lime Tree restaurant is a must-visit whenever I'm in Manchester. Their food is consistently fresh and bursting with flavor. Today, I savored their crispy chicken with mushrooms and a delightful sauce that left my taste buds delighted. And speaking of delights, you absolutely must try their sticky toffee pudding—it's genuinely the best I've ever had. Trust me, dessert at the Lime Tree is an experience you should never skip!
Very cute place which was close to where we were staying for the night. So glad I chose this as the food was amazing. Great staff. Food came in a timely manner as was delicious!
My favourite restaurant in this part of England. Loved every single dish throughout the meal which is a rarity. Chef understands balance and flavour.

Lovely dinner with our neighbours. We all ate from the Xmas menu which had a nice variety of dishes.

Great staff. Nice food. Good service. Check changes to menu. Beef was very tender. Burgers were tasty (maybe more cheese please next time) Lovely setting. Plenty of bars in the area.
Fantastic place, highly recommend. Great food and friendly, helpful staff. Been here a few times and can't fault it one bit. Food is delicious with a few great options, and perfect sized portions. Kids menu is good and they can customer make it for those fussy little ones like mine! Service always pretty quick and a small car park at the back. Decor lovely and kept lovely and clean. Recommend having a side of roasted courgettes they are to die for!!
Really nice food, the staff were friendly & helpful, each course was excellent! So glad we found this little gem on our anniversary trip! We left feeling pleasantly stuffed and would definitely come back again if we didn't live the opposite end of the country!
Very good food and a service that was prompt but not intrusive. We will definitely be back to try the other dishes!
