Beautiful Bolney village. Stunning. The pub was a pretty old Tudor style character pub with pool table, restaurant and lots of tables.
The gammon, egg and chips were spot on and the staff were friendly. The 4 stars for service is only reflective of the fact that there was only one public facing member of staff - frankly she did really well accommodating so many people at lunchtime!
Overall 5 stars. I think it's deserved.

Visiting the local wine estate, the 8 bells B&B was a perfect choice, only 15 minute walk through the countryside paths to reach the estate. Parking was across the road in the pub carpark. Room was fresh, clean, with a big shower, and roll top bath.

We visited a year ago and sat outside had an absolutely lovely meal here. We were the only customers perhaps we picked a quiet time or maybe just as they opened I can’t remember. But I do remember there was a dog roaming round outside who was the owners dog - at first I thought the dog was fine just far away from us eating and being friendly but then as the food was served the dog came over and was under the table and even jumping up on us. I’m autistic and I’m pretty terrified of dogs - i don’t mind them if they are friendly but jumping up and getting under the table when people are eating I don’t think is ok. Sorry but I’ve had to drop a star other than that we had a great meal here.

Lovely traditional country pub in the heart of the village. Service was a bit slow but, we werent in any rush. Food quality was excellent and generous portions. The lady that served us was very friendly and chatty.

We walked out of a Beefeater restaurant and found this little Gem by accident. So please with Siri who took us there.

Stayed at the Eight bells but also had dinner and breakfast here. Great hosts, great range of beer and food.
Accommodation is excellent but the icing on the cake was a really friendly dog! Would recommend to anyone, especially if visiting the Bolney wine estate.

Lovely old country pub. We popped in for a drink but stayed for a lovely roast as its Mother's Day. Very friendly staff. And the roast was delicious. Lovely to see that they are so dog friendly.

We popped in as we were passing through to Brighton
A lovely traditional old style pub, with a welcoming landlady and team, topped off with a radiantly bursting log fire.
The service was absolutely perfect, and we felt as if we were at our own local pub. We
Felt welcomed as soon as we took our first step in.
Food was flawless, and very very tasty. Beer lines were clean and glasses too, the beer actually clinged to the glass.
True hospitality, as it should be.
