What can I say, some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted. The Liquorice and blackcurrant ice cream is to die for.. The £8 tub of any mix of about 8 scoops is a really good value for money and comes in a polystyrene tub so you can take it home and put it in your freezer, that's if there's any left by the time you get home that is..

Without a doubt the nicest ice cream we have ever tasted.. Full of natural flavour.. And the girls that run this place are lovely

THE best ice cream in the UK! We live in Hampshire but my wife was born in Bolton and our first stop when we’re back in the North is always to Milk Maids! We time our trips back North by how much Milk Maids is left in our freezer! Can’t wait for our next visit!

The best ice-cream parlour in Bolton. Friendly service, with a wide selection of flavours and serving options e.g multiple choice of cones, tub sizes and toppings. They also do takeaway tubs. Within the shop they sell additional items such as brownies, bread, eggs, chutneys and their own raw milk. Service is always friendly and welcoming. There is a small amount of indoor seating and outdoor seating.

Busy place, but it's definitely worth waiting in queue. Every week I keep buying milk, eggs and ice cream. Highly recommended quality and prices. Atmosphere from staff and customer care very kind. Would be nice to add carrier bag if someone make some shopping, anyway I been offered help in taking my stuff to car.

It's definitely worth a visit. Fresh produce also sold. Seating in and outside. Though I got bit by midges outside. Parking is hit and miss outside. Can be waiting up to 10 minutes on busy days. Friendly staff.

Raw milk ice cream great heavenly, by far the best ice cream I have had 10/10 and I have been far and wide so that is high praise indeed. I go very regular and it is equally nice every time. I just don't like the customer service, I appreciate they're a small farm shop and an hour's queue on a hot day can't always be avoided. But that's not the issue, it's more when there are people waiting just to pay whilst the girls all seem to want to serve one person. Not an exaggeration when I say yesterday a group of us waited to pay for our tubs and raw milk and the girls seemed clueless we were even there. We ended up waiting 10-15 mins for no reason. I also don't find them polite or welcoming, the original owners are lovely but the new girls seem a little immature and I'm sorry to say can't do basic maths.

This was our first time here, heard about how fresh and tasty the ice-cream is, definitely not disappointed. We had to queue for a few minutes before being served but apparently it can get very busy at peak times, we went around 12ish and sat outside, the farm has no car park, need to park on main road, which wasn't a problem, My ice-cream was expensive because I chose lot's of add - ons, e.g cone with sherbet and chocolate, two different flavours of ice-cream, wafer and nuttella poured into bottom of cone, definitely worth going.

The best ice cream I've ever had by far. Can't beat ice cream made with fresh milk and the assortment of flavours available is amazing. Various chocolate based flavours and some innovative ones too. Generous portion sizes and that farm smell, can't go wrong. Yet to try their drinks and other offerings, but if they're anything like the ice cream, they'll be on point.

Amazing place, such friendly staff and so helpful I even got to chat to the farmer about the Raw milk. This will be our go to to buy milk and eggs even though it’s a half an hour drive it’s worth it. Tried both and they are gorgeous and high quality! Ice cream and coffee was superb also 👏🏼👏🏼

One of the best ice cream places i visit often if not the best! Top quality and service from the staff. The waffles they serve in winter mostly are very nice and soft and is a must try. I personally feel they are one of best. The ice cream is very tasty and have a variety available. They also sell fresh milk and eggs along with other things people may want to purchase.
