Vegetarian cafe, centrally located and reasonably priced. Visited here for dinner (lunch), got the food to takeaway. I ordered the mushroom bean burger, coffee and walnut cake, carrot cake and I also took a flapjack and a vego chocolate bar from the shop area, £12.10 total. All the food was good and I would eat here again. There’s plenty of seating if you want to sit in. This cafe is centrally located, most things on the menu are vegan and are clearly marked, all of the cakes were vegan, including the 2 options I had plus fruit crumble, date and walnut brownie, white chocolate cheesecake, millionaire shortbread and chocolate almond fudge cake. From the fridge they sell a range of vegan soft drinks plus meat alternatives such as tofu. There is a shop section which sells a range of products including alternative milks, vegan chocolate, crisps and healthy snacks, baking products and nut butters, tea, environmentally friendly cleaning products and shampoo. At the counter there is also a range of sweet snacks including vegan chocolate bars and vegan flapjacks, fresh fruit and vegan soap! They also have a book shelf area where they sell books as well as a section for flyers and leaflets which stock information about events. There are vegetarian inspired quotes dotted about and they also have free WiFi.

Friend took me and my partner in. Superb food, and a vast quantity of it served. Good deserts selection to, but sadly I was too "stuffed" for that. Dam, I'll have to make another trip 😋 You have two weeks left! Get in before closes for ever.

Bolton’s hidden gem. Have been coming here for over three years now. It’s a place for everyone... not those veggie/vegan cafes you only feel comfortable in if you’re a certain type of ‘hipster’. This place is something for everyone and is extremely welcoming. The food is wonderful, all fresh and the staff are superb and friendly! I really do recommend for ALL.

I just love this place! The food is always delicious - and reasonably priced - and there are yummy home-made vegan cakes. The staff are wonderfully friendly and it's such a nice atmosphere. The Gozleme (Turkish stuffed flatbread) is amazing, and the home-made curries are mouthwatering. I have never had a bad meal here.

The best seitan I've had so far. Friendly and helpful staff. I always find vegan and vegetarian restaurants are so much more passionate about the food and drink they serve and this was no exception. They had a range of alternative milks, a large herbal and fruit tea selection, and lots of fruit juice and soft drinks. They also had a fully vegan menu, with breakfast food, lunches, burgers and soup. A very nice find directly across the road from the train station.

So lovely to see a veggie and vegan friendly place in Bolton! I had the vegan breakfast, ate every last bite, not had one of these in a long time, full to the rafters and totally worth it! Wish them all the luck to keep doing what they're doing!

I had an amazing vegan breakfast this morning with a beautiful chai latte with soy milk. Great value as it cost the same as you would expect a non vegan breakfast to cost. The vegan bacon (which I haven't tried before) was great and I had to check if the scrambled tofu wasn't actually egg it was tasty and convincing. They even use turmeric to colour it.

The Kitchen is an awesome little cafe. It serves a range of freshly made food from fresh produce and has a real community feel about it. Everyone is friendly and I have often found myself sat next to a stranger and chatting away over lunch. Its that kind of place. They do a range of vegetarian and vegan dishes that are very tasty. They serve herbal teas, normal teas, coffee and a selection of milk alternatives. If your in Bolton town centre pop in and give it a try you wil definitely return.
