A pretty good bakery so it is a shame they are shutting down for good.
Prices are reasonable and you get the largest slabs of cake which is brilliant.
Biggest downside is the lack of parking. This is emphasised by the presence of only a few on street spaces which are located beside a very busy road.
Best fresh bakery producer in town. Excellent pies, cakes, sandwiches. Really good quality and value for money. I would highly recommend the vanilla slice with proper custard cream. Totally yummy and a good large size. The girls in the shop are all lovely too.
Allen's bakery make the most fantastic sponge cakes, on special occasions we order our cakes from here. We live ten miles away and wouldn't order our cakes from anywhere else, the service is great and the staff friendly. The pies and sandwiches are very good with a good choice. We always come away with something when collecting our cakes.
Just stopped for 2pasties,2sandwiches,jam and cream finger roll all were excellent but the finger roll was mega,shared it with my son in law Jack,wont make the same mistake next time were having one each
Got wife an egg custard, but its staring at me from the dashboard on way home ,nice clean,ladies are lovely😘🥰
lovely friendly staff, you can ring and place your order they'll put it to one side but keep it warm for you...if needed? excellently priced foods, homemade items, what more could you want?

Staff and the service they give are second to none.

The best cake and pie shop in the area the food is so beautifully made even the muffins are gorgeous I have taken the guts to London with me to friends and they have asked me to take stuff down the sense because they’re so wonderful so nice one of the best cake shops in Bolton
We ordered a chocolate Birthday cake for my Dads 80th collected it Saturday for his Birthday meal on Sunday , it was the best chocolate cake ever Delicious there was loads of it, Will add pics soon
Tasty pies and sausage rolls ........I think they are better than Gregg's. Served with a smile.....card payment accepted.
