Amazing food, nice decor and immaculate in all places, very friendly and attentive staff too. I couldn't believe we only paid £26 for 1 starter 2 mains and 2 drinks and the quality was great my partner loved that her chicken burger was a grilled breast and not the fried breadcrumb you get in most places, peppercorn sauce was nicest I've had in a while

Delicious food, great prices. Friendly atmosphere 👍 We ate outside in the beer garden. Only criticism was that tables were dirty and were not being cleaned between customers. Disappointing! Otherwise this would be 5 stars.

We spent the past two weekends here. Wonderful. Rooms are lovely beds comfy. Powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Room was on main road but was not really noisy and we had the windows open All staff very friendly. Real good breakfast. You must try the black pudding . Evening meals also good. Good choice. This is a hidden gem. Great if you want to tour this part of Scotland

Was here for a meal for an Xmas night out, it was my first time here and the food was really good. Had steak and it was cooked to perfection, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall was a great experience and will definitely be back.

Touring on bicycles we asked for a room late in the day without notice. Even on a busy night the reception was attentive and friendly, the room was spotless. Our thanks to Claire (hope I have your name correct) who was working the late shift. You made us feel very welcome, and was there in the morning as well to serve a quality breakfast. A very pleasant stay. M. & D. Vancouver Canada
