We ordered for the first time on Saturday and we were so impressed, some of the best Indian we have had in a long time, everything was so fresh and the flavours just incredible, the chapatti is just the best!

Ordered a take away for the first time and honestly, the food is stunning. I have high expectations of food and I must say this was probably the nicest Indian I have ever had!!! The pilau rice was incredible, such flavour from everything!

We visited here on a Saturday evening, after booking ahead as we suspected it might be busy. We were the only table in there to begin with. However over the course of our meal the restaurant filled up, creating a very nice atmosphere. Very attentive and friendly staff. Able to adapt to out needs, even providing us with an extra onion bhaji as they usually come with four however we were a party of 5! (they overheard us joking about it). Good authentic food with a large menu to choose from. We will definitely be returning. This is quite the hidden gem.

Great Indian! Perfect for take away or eating in. Atmosphere is great, the staff look after you so well! Nothing is too much trouble. I’ve had countless birthdays here and will continue to do so! Food tastes amazing. Really recommend it!

Nice intimate atmosphere perfect for our anniversary dinner. Staff were attentive but were also happy for us to sit and talk for a good long while after we had finished our meals. Indian food was very good, highly recommend both the garlic and cheese and chilli naans. Wine selection was good too.
The only disappointment was the dessert which was of the frozen mass produced variety. Edible once it defrosted enough, just disappointing after such good starters and mains.
Irish coffee was also very good, so maybe just skip dessert!

Had Jalfrezi and the mixed tikka starter with garlic naan. Was all incredibly tasty and was surprised by the quality. All the food arrived warm. Jalfrezi wasn’t too spicy and maybe a bit sweet but still delicious. Will order again.

Great meal from here this evening. Prompt delivery, great value, hot and delicious. We had a Palak Paneer with what I think is housemade paneer, Aloo Gobi and the Tarkha Dal. All very tasty and well seasoned. The Bombay chips were great too - couldn't resist those! The papadams were fresh and crisp, and the naan was well transported so as to be as fresh as eating in-house. The cheese naan could have been a little cheesier, that's my only constructive criticism. Would recommend, we will be back!

I went for my 18th Birthday meal in the Dhanmondi Restaurant and experienced excellent service. The table had been set up for me with balloons, confetti etc before we arrived which let of a very welcoming atmosphere, all the staff were friendly and overall we had a lovely time. The food was really good and I would highly recommend the Dhanmondi Resturant to others.

Great food, best tasting Indian food I have ever had in the UK. Staff are friendly and will happily recommend dishes based on your taste. Some unusual dishes which I have never seen in any other restaurants, but are some of the best.

I really miss Dhanmondi - I've moved about 50 miles away and haven't really found a comparable Indian restaurant in my local town. A particular favourite of mine was the Shobzi (Veg) Jalfreizei for which I've never found even a close replacement.

Absolutely fantastic food yet again the Lamb is amazing. Great friendly service and always made to feel welcome. Always willing to accommodate your requirements. Felt a little cold in there last night but was -1 outside. Another great evening with a tremendous meal.
