Acorn Cafe

Treated myself to a chippy tea tonight. Chips, sausage, onion rings and curry sauce. DELISH!!! Everything was freshly cooked and still piping hot when I got home. The staff are brilliant and there's a great little 'Bottle Bar', next-door where you can have a drink if there's a bit of a wait. Nice 1 to Liz and her team!

Great place for delicious fish and chips. The food really was delicious, the chips were perfect just right and the fish and batter was great too. Our son had a fish cake and my partner the Saveloy, which he said was the best he had had in a long while. The added bonus of the dining in area ‘The Bottle Bar’ which also serves alcohol was a great touch! Staff were super friendly and helpful, delivering salt and vinegar to our table- they will also bring your food round for you. The vibes inside were really lovely and I can imagine is really nice in the evening with low lighting, and interesting art work. A great addition to Borth!

A busy fish and chip shop that had a notice on their window to inform us that there would be a 20-30 minute wait when busy. I think I waited about 10 minutes for three meals, relatively standard prices for a beach side chippy. But the meals we had were amazing! Piping hot food and the fish was done to perfection! Great addition to my families beach trips tradition.
