Cozy pub with large servings of tasty standard pub food, the chips were real too! We had 3 meals and a starter to share, and had to give quite a bit to the dogs. Dog friendly too.

Another great place for good beer, especially as they have the superb Tintagel Brewery ales on tap. We sat outside in the sun with loads of other people. It's a popular place to drink and they serve excellent, traditional pub food, too.

Really enjoyed our two visits and the food was reasonably priced and tastey. Excellent service, kind and friendly. Not a long wait for food and table cleaned promptly. Good atmosphere. Bonus for me were the Thatchers range of drinks as I got to try Dry. Yum

Nice little pub in Boscastle, infact the only pub in the center of the village, good thing is its cheaper than all the other drinking establishments near by if you want to order 2 pints! It's large inside with the old pub look which the tourists will love and it has seating inside and alot of tables outside so if the weather is nice, buy a pint and go and sit outside!

Leaving a good review as I can't have you scoring lower than the local Toby jug. Excellent food menu with delicious specials and freshly cooked food. Bangers and mash uses fresh potatoes! Not any packet stuff. Best place to eat in boscastle for sure. Lovely friendly bar staff and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection of local ales and ciders as well as the classics. Edit, back after a year: Back a year later and the friendly demeanor seems to have faded, although they could have just been having a bad day. Went back for the Sausage and mash as I remembered it so fondly. Unfortunately the home made onion gravy has been replaced with fairly bland off the shelf gravy with a handful of sliced Raw onions, dry mash and frozen peas. Disappointed. Hopefully it's not an example of how things are and just a bad day.
