I am so torn. I’ve been to this place 3 times and loved it 2 out of 3 times. It’s just the most recent one had flavorless, oily pad Thai. But my past experiences with My Thai Vegan Cafe push it up to 4 stars.

My favorite thai and vegan location in Boston! My Thai Vegan Cafe is my go-to for thai food and vegan food. I am not a vegetarian, but their dishes are so creative, well-presented, and their staff are so incredibly friendly that I happily crave these vegan options. Their space is surrounded by tons of plants and is an inviting atmosphere. Definitely check out if you are in the mood for trying some excellent thai food and if you want to be inspired for vegetarian and vegan dishes!

The appetizers were our favorite part. The #2 Pad Thai Todd rolls (fried) and #3 Fried dumplings were amazing. Partner got a #101 a "very spicy" mango chicken curry. The veggie-Chicken was made from seitan I think which is not my preference for substitute meat. It was not spicy at all which was disappointing. I got a #54 Mango fried rice. Pretty good, just didn't have any other vegetables except for onions and the veggie-shrimp. Loved all the plants around the restaurant.

Their lo mein is the best. Red Curry is great. Dumplings are great. Tofu cigars are yum. Chicken fingers are too oily. Pad Thai could use a little more flavor. Overall, the experience was great. Food was nice too.

Great all vegan place in Chinatown. When I went with a larger group, I got the chance to try more adventurous things on the menu and was so glad I did. The fried wontons and birds nest were especially good and I highly recommend

My new favorite restaurant in all of Downtown! I got the Som Tum and the Tom Yum “Gai.” I’m not vegan but try to have 1 or 2 vegetarian days per week, and this fits the bill. Really creative and not forced feeling menu options. Some of the chillest yet friendliest staff members ever, both worked together and were so helpful. Space is clean, quirky, and really calming atmosphere. Very fresh and interesting flavors and textures.

The food here is great, very fresh tasting and so many options. We got bubble teas, an app, and two entrees. The imitation beef is excellent, although I was skeptical at first. Bubble tea is a little overpriced but it is fresh made from fruits and veggies for the ones we ordered and the boba was just the right texture. Service was great as well. Went with a friend looking for a place with some good veggie options and fun to have a leisurely meal in. The stairs are a little scary, but once you get up there the restaurant is very clean, brightwith natural light, and spacious on top. Beautiful plants all over too, was like eating in a little garden. This is a great lunch or early dinner spot with lots of fresh options and a fun atmosphere

Absolute amazing! I’m not vegan, but my husband is. We both enjoyed the food immensely. We shared the appetizer of “chicken”’fingers, I had veggie shrimp basil fried rice, and he had the Thai half pineapple with steamed rice. All of it was super delicious and the portions were huge. Our server, Dat, was so friendly and personable. He took the time to describe the dishes and offer suggestions. Everyone working there was friendly and other guests were eating, talking, and noticeably enjoying the experience. The restaurant is right in the heart of Chinatown in Boston. If we are ever back in this area, we will definitely return here. The prices are great. You definitely get your money’s worth.

a TASTY hidden gem! The food and atmosphere was EXCEPTIONAL. They have really great lunch deals that are served with yummy daily soup and your choice of dumplings or a spring roll with your entree. The upstairs greenhouse-like atmosphere was such a relaxing break in our workday. We will definitely be coming back

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the lunch specials. I ordered the mango tofu rice plate special for $13.50 which comes with a cup of jasmine tea, a cup of the soup of the day, and an eggroll (or fried dumplings). The tea tasted great, concentrated. The soup was a Service was excellent and water glass was replenished often. Also ordered iced coffee; it was intense and full-bodied. Place was very clean. I looked at the crevices and around the plants. Bathroom was clean as well, but was out of toilet paper.
