Walked from country park to this pub as was recommended and it didn’t disappoint, we had a light lunch, prawn baguette and a tuna melt baguette which came with chips and salad, ham egg and chips, and a cheese ploughmans, friendly hosts and food was very good value for money, we sat outside in the beer garden as it was a nice sunny afternoon with our 2 dogs. Would Recommend and return

Went for a walk to Anton's Gowt and found this gem. We ate inside. Food was well priced and very tasty. Lots of different food on menu so will suit even the most picky of eaters, my son for example. But he enjoyed it and 4 empty plates later. Many Thanks

The waiter was kind, courteous and attentive and they gave us big, home cooked portions at very reasonable prices. The food was lovely and a great selection on the menu to suit all budgets!

Went with a friend on Tuesday night and stayed there till 11pm. Opening times just say Mon from 4 rest of week from 11 open till late. Food was lovely. Nicki owner really polite and friendly. Place clean and nice location.

We booked a table for 8 in the week for a Sunday carvery and when we got there, there was a little confusion over our table but they did find us a table! It seemed they were struggling with getting back into the reopening groove, we had to flag down staff when we needed something like drinks and to find out if we needed tickets for the roast. The food, however, was lovely, there was plenty meat and it was nice and tender. Sad that there was no cheesecake of the day left eventhough it was only 130 but the chocolate orange cake was delicious!!
Over all, the food was great it was just the organisation which slightly let it down
First time here. What a find fabulous carvery. Really tasty. Meat cooked perfectly. All staff welcoming attentive and polite. Great prices. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the vast menu. Kids loved the sweet jar on the way out. Excellent
