I love this place. Lovely food, very friendly staff and ponies, ponies, ponies! What more could you want?
Unfortunately, it seems that the lease on this pub/restaurant is up and the venue closes on 17/10/2021. Hopefully a new buyer can be found because this is a really lovely location and venue. OK, it's not cheap, but on a beautiful summer's day, sitting outside, overlooking the fields and horses...
Five of us visited for the Sunday carvery lunch. Two were vegetarians and chose the leek tarts, which they said were excellent. Two of us had the pork and one the turkey, we chose the medium size which was very generous. The selection of vegetable was good, nice to see red cabbage making an appearan
Spacious cool and airy dining area. ( A few unseasonal room decorations need to be put away.) Friendly and attentive staff provided excellent service appropriate to our needs. Delicious carvery meal. The stuffing was nicely meaty. Good selection of sauces, including plenty of gravy. Well described a
