Unfortunately, it seems that the lease on this pub/restaurant is up and the venue closes on 17/10/2021. Hopefully a new buyer can be found because this is a really lovely location and venue. OK, it's not cheap, but on a beautiful summer's day, sitting outside, overlooking the fields and horses...your cold beer tastes extra special. I had the pleasure of chatting with the farm and business owner's son, who was really welcoming and informative. By the way, on the last night before closing, they are having music and food...I believe it's ticket only? I'll try to get my name down. Highly recommended.

Always a good experience here, food is great, unique setting, friendly staff and usually easy to get in at short notice especially if only two of you. Chef is always happy and willing to give you a free French lesson at the same time 👍

Spacious cool and airy dining area. ( A few unseasonal room decorations need to be put away.) Friendly and attentive staff provided excellent service appropriate to our needs. Delicious carvery meal. The stuffing was nicely meaty. Good selection of sauces, including plenty of gravy. Well described and interesting dessert selection.

Lovely venue Watching horses and ponies was wonderful. Unfortunately my husband's Guinness was terribly He did mention this to barman but he seemed very uninteresting, he did not offer my husband another a beer. The carver was very friendly and we had plenty of food Definitely go again.

Five of us visited for the Sunday carvery lunch. Two were vegetarians and chose the leek tarts, which they said were excellent. Two of us had the pork and one the turkey, we chose the medium size which was very generous. The selection of vegetable was good, nice to see red cabbage making an appearance. We were to full to have a dessert, but the menu looked enticing. The price was very reasonable. The staff very helpful and friendly. We will definitely visit again.

I visited Kings Country Bar and restaurant last night for their first Friday night live music event. This proved a great success. I got to there at 07:30 and met with friends, the band (legend) were not due to go on stage until 09:00 pm. So I thought I would try some of menu, I had the music night special of cheese burger and chips in a basket this was£7.50 and was very nice a load of chips and some of the best I have ever had my friends had hunters chicken sandwich this seemed a little expensive but when it turned up WOW it came with chips and a nice salad. The drinks were not bad prices too! The band went on at 09:00 and played for 2:30 mins with a break, the band "legend" we're a great choice the first event "legend" are a local rock band that plays music for all! They got the punters up on the dance floor and the tables dancing. A great fun night out. Kings I would get advertising as you have a fab place, a huge car park, a great bar that everyone can see the bands and the food on offer. I can see this getting big in the future with dedication from the owners. I will be back. Hope to see you all soon
