Very helpful service today. There was one person in the queue in front of us and another member for staff opened another till. Great selection of quality plants and always helpful advice. Lots of gift items too. BBQs and garden furniture also on sale. Haven't tried the cafe but the cakes looked delicious.

What a wonderful event the Botley Hillier January half price breakfasts were! I'm sure the many who have enjoyed them, would like to join me in thanking Manager Richard and his happy friendly team, who calmly served hundreds of us with a smile. The long queues were swiftly served, and everything efficiently ran like clockwork despite the cafe being full to capacity! Nothing was too much trouble, and how they managed it I'll never know! As for the breakfasts... they were delicious, and freshly cooked perfectly! So relaxing, despite the numbers, we even stayed on for cake, and this was with a very young baby in tow! All there loved it, there was great atmosphere, but it takes a special team working together to pull that off! Lovely to see!

We had afternoon tea which consisted of egg sandwiches and ham and tomato sandwiches, which luckily we like albeit a bit boring. A selection of small cakes and fruit scones. At £20 each you would have expected a choice. One thing I will say in their favour is that they top up your tea, coffee etc and the staff were really lovely. It is always nice to look around the shop afterwards.
