I love the luxor I have been many times with work, my husband, family members. I always recommend here. The atmosphere is so authentic, the staff are amazing and friendly and the food is the best I've tasted. We keep on returning in to the best restaurant in Bournemouth xx

Amazing restaurant. Although we had read positive reviews on trip advisor, my first impressions when we walked in were a little reserved due to the relaxed decor and the fact they only take cash payment. I'm pleased to say my reservations soon faded away the minute the pitta and hummus arrived. Went with my husband. We are regular visitors to the Bournemouth area and we were fed up of all the chain restaurants in the centre of town. We absolutely loved the food at luxor which was so reasonably priced for this type of food. At home (essex) you would be looking at paying double the price. The hummus and pitta which we shared for starters was amazing and I had a lamb and potato dish in a tagine for mains with this amazing biryani rice. The lamb was so tender it fell off the bone and the potatoes so soft served in a beautiful sauce. The rice was like nothing I've ever seen before. When you hear somewhere does biryani rice you presume the Indian style, but this was totally different and much nicer. Husband had a chicken and cous cous tagine which was presented with lots of beautiful vegetables and an amazing broth of chickpeas and various herbs. We didn't need a dessert and im so glad we didnt order a big starter, as the mains filled us up nicely. We will definately be returning and we are very glad to have found this hidden gem.

Great evening as usual -wonderful, tasty food, competitively prices and huge quantities! The welcome is friendly and the service and banter with Grace great fun as always. Just a great way too spend an evening with friends! We had the mixed grill for 4 after a starter of hummus and flat bread.

Visited Luxor from Birmingham on the 24th. Immediately Grace & Pedro recognised we had booked in advance. The food was FANTASTIC! Mustafa the chief did an outstanding job on preparing our meals which arrived quickly and steaming hot. Pedro & Grace made sure all of our needs Inc the kids, needs we're met and the kids enjoyed their meals as much as we did. Highly recommended a visit here if you're looking for a middle East meal in Bournemouth . They spent time with us afterwards too. Excellent service, thanks for a fantastic meal.

Very nice, clean place, easy access by walk and by bus. Very tasty meals. Staff is lovely, friendly. We were served by Pedro, who answered our questions and explained what we needed. We will come again.

Excellent service and food! We had 3 large mixed grill platters for a group of 22 people. Everything was very well cooked - the meat was really tender and well seasoned and the service was great. I particularly loved the charred flavour on the chicken wings, whilst they remained juicy and delicious. A place highly recommended!

Very calm and relaxed place to eat with beautiful music, friendly and amazing staff and delicious food. The staff are warm and welcoming always and full of big smiles. No matter how busy they are, they always make time and effort for all customers and that the food is ready. Amazing time there and never felt more welcomed. Cant recommend a place more than Luxor.

Amazing meal and experience! This is by far the best restaurant in Charminster! Grace and Pedro were very welcoming and attentive as always. Moustafa cooked up an absolute feast that was delicious! Atmosphere is always relaxed and the food is always excellent!
