The staff is really friendly and kind. The food was good and it was worth for the price. We tried maki suchi and salmon sushimi. The staff gave us extra pickle ginger when we asked for free. The place atmosphere is very calming and the place is very clean. I would highly recommend this place and would go back to try more food. 10/10❤️
My first experience of a Japanese restaurant and I loved it! The food was amazing, well priced and great value for money. The Unagi or eel was extremely tasty, as was my Maki Sushi, we also had some Teriyaki dishes which were equally as tasty. Best of all for me, is that everything was gluten free and the staff were so friendly and accommodating regarding this, I feel safe to eat here and I can’t wait for my next visit.
A little gem of a surprise - we found Nippon Inn as we were struggling to find a place to eat on Friday evening. Coming from
London, we’ve eaten at many established eatery’s there, so we were pleasantly surprised and absolutely hit the jackpot when we found a table that could accommodate us. The food was very tasty and authentically presented, portions were also good and value for the price. I will definitely be coming back next time we are visiting the area.
The kara age and tempura never disappoint. Our favourite in Bournemouth.
Loved this place. Really interesting selection of foods that were well cooked and well presented, the and drinks were great, with really friendly service too. The decor is interesting and unpretentious. Can't wait to come back.
Absolutely love it here! Authentic Japanese cuisine in a cute, cosy setting, with super-friendly staff and service. Our only regret is not visiting sooner, will definitely be back! ❤️
The food is always delicious. Highly recommend the Tempura Soba 👌🏼 my go to favourite dish and always made to perfection. The Maki Sushi is also delicious.

It's easy to overlook this little Charminster restaurant, but it is such a gem, with a dedicated and hands-on manager. Although we've not been to Japan, we can say that Nippon Inn has a really homely feel, and the cuisine feels authentic, flavourful and really fresh compared to the Japanese chain restaurants out there. Make sure to book if you'd like to get a spot at one of their two tatami mat tables in the window!

Very cute restaurant, fast and very friendly service. Would recommend trying to get the Zashiki (low table/floor seating). Couldn't recommend more.
