I had regular cod with large chips - the portion sizes were perfect, big enough fish and definitely plenty of chips with a large portion. The shop is clean and tidy, the man serving was polite and friendly.chips were clearly freshly made and very tasty, the fish was nice but not great.

Superb fish but let down by the portion size of chips.
Nice fresh haddock with a crunchy but not oily batter. However for a large portion of chips I felt a bit disappointed with the portion size. However maybe I was just really hungry.

Really friendly and accommodating people. Fish and chips were banging and paired really well with the curry sauce and peas. They also fried the fish in a seperate man to meet our dietary needs. All round great job 👍

We were in the area with our Scout Group and speculatively called Sunny's for an order (for 32 people) for the group -- the food was fantastic, piping hot and and the service was amazing !
Would highly recommend -- especially to Scout groups having Chips by the pier at Boscombe !

Super tasty find, close to the seafront! We were looking for a chippie that would be HALAL compliant and this amazing place delivered. They fry in peanut oil and will fry the fish separately to any meat products on request. Don’t waste time looking for the Fish and chip Plaice, which comes up on TA reviews for halal chippies- doesn’t exist anymore. Changeover in owners and no longer halal. Sunny’s delivers the goods and staff couldn’t have be more accommodating!

On the 24th of July 2023 I remembered that this chop shop sold my favorite chip shop vinegar, so I decided to pay them a visit as I'd run out and previously remembered the delicious fish and chips I had from them before. When I got there I had forgotten that they only take cash, I needed £2.50. I looked in my bag but only found £1.20. The absolute gentleman sold me the bottle for that price. 🥰
