Bournemouth Noodle Bar

Great little noodle bar serving authentic Asian cuisine including sushi. With over 20 set menus, there's plenty of choice and great value for money. For my first visit I ordered the set menu 18 with pork noodle soup and chicken gyoza (pictured, minus 2 gyoza because I was hungry) for £13.50 (WAY cheaper than Nuudle Bar!) and was the perfect size for dinner. Will definitely be back to try the sushi!

The food was good, we ordered a set menu and its a 'more than decent' amount. I have got a 5pcs platter of mix sushi and beef noodles for 14£.. exceeds my expectations for serving portions.. taste was good, not the best i had but good. Service was excellent. Ambiance can be improved.. Will come back.

Seems like other reviews usually mix this up with the other noodle bar down the street. Its very different from that as this is actually a quiet, small, Chinese owned restaurant opposite Lidl. Its perfect for people missing good Asian food - Japanese, Korean and chinese. They have affordable set meals with great mix of rice/noodles paired with sashimi/sushi. Their food never disappoints and literally lifts up my mood because of how great it tastes, so much that it reminds me of home. The person serving is always polite and friendly. It's indeed a great hidden gem, and at such an affordable price, it's easy to revisit and keep ordering their food. It's a lovely find 🍲💗

Hidden gem! Not to be confused with the other noodle bar on Landsdowne road … We had a lovely dinner here, fabulous service and genuinely fabulous food. All the classics, savoury and sweet Chinese buns , dumplings , katsu…. Glorious wanton and noodle soup- one of the best I’ve ever had. It doesn’t have any bells and whistles interiors so don’t go if that’s what you’re after. Good authentic food and a genuinely pleasing service is what’s on offer. You won’t be disappointed, will definitely go back.

For real one of the greatest places to eat to get a feel for the food of Asia, the steamed buns and ramen there are top notch thinking of them make me reminiscence, and the tea was drunk with pure happiness. Felt like it was a rainy day in Tokyo loved it I truly recommend, can't wait for my next visit.
