We decided to come here for my birthday meal, and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived , we were greeted by friendly staff. The lady who looked after us for the evening, was amazing. She was so friendly, happy, and made us laugh. She also made my evening special by singing happy birthday to me, which was a sweet unexpected surprise. We will most definitely return, as service and food was amazing!
Fantastic vegan and vegetarian menu. Great to see a solid choice of options and not just a remove cheese option.
Cocktails looked nice and were prepared quickly. I tried a gran reserva which I haven't had before.
The server was also brilliant and gave us their recommendations on the menu. Nice touch.
It was really quiet when I visited, great to see the pizzas going into the oven and had an active vibe from the kitchen.

We popped into Pizza Express Bournemouth after a shopping trip, fortunately a table was available without booking.
Had an enjoyable meal and great decor where we were too, a lot of effort to recreate a local bus destination blind.
Good service and tasty food as you would expect from Pizza Express.
Will go back there, maybe making sure we book ahead next time!
Held my 10 Yr old's birthday lunch for 10 friends last Saturday. Staff were so helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond our expectations. We really enjoyed our lunch and had a great time - highly recommend!
It was a Friday evening, so naturally, I booked to avoid disappointment. I need had bothered it was a very quiet evening. We were greeted swiftly and taken to our table. The immediate areas were clean and well decorated with local pieces. Our order was taken with great help on gluten-free options. We had ordered 2 cocktails that were amazing. We shared a starter and had our pizzas. Both were delicious with little left over. A nice addition to the towns places to eat out at.
Helpful knowledgeable staff. Clean. Relaxed environment and delicious food and drinks.
Our bill came to just over £50 so reasonably priced.
Me and my friend came in for dinner at around 6 ish on a tues night, was good food and good service, our waiter (can’t remember his name but he was wearing blue jeans) helped us a lot with our queries about the app as we kept getting confused, he was so so lovely and patient, we really appreciated his help! ☺️ manager on the other hand could have been more polite with us, maybe they had had a bad day but doesn’t excuse the harshness. aside from that had an enjoyable experience, kitchen staff waved goodbye as we left ☺️
We had our sons 7th birthday party here the other Saturday. We had the beat time. They all thoroughly enjoyed making their pizzas. Thank you for a great time.
A friend and I went for dinner and we had the lovely Delia serving us. She was such a happy presence and all of our food came quickly and was served fresh and hot. Was absolutely delicious, will definitely be coming again!
Thank you to the lady that served us yesterday, curly hair, glasses - a pleasure to have been served by you and to the chefs and the rest of the team. We travelled from London for my sons 16th birthday. They made his day extra special by switching off all the light in the restaurant and singing him happy birthday with a surprise cake and extra dough balls. This is a memory that we will never forget - big love! thank you!
Really nice staff and the manger Monica was very friendly. The food was also fresh and delicious. I always love coming to pizza express.
I had to edit the review as we we came back again not only for the food but the staff Monica, Akash and Dailia were so welcoming and friendly :) thank you for making our visit so welcoming. They are also very family friendly which helped a lot. When we visit again we will sure come to say hello
