Pizza Express

Came into pizza express at around 18:00 on the 27th September and was seated promptly. Staff were friendly and polite (Dalia served out table). Our order taken and starters came out shortly after. Once finished the table was quickly cleared and it was not long before our mains arrived. Just like the starters, the mains were also delicious and flavoursome. We were asked about desserts but we’re hesitant at first but decided to go for it. Originally I was going to have the mini biscoff cheesecake which comes with a choice of tea or coffee. However I didn’t really want a hot drink so Dalia recommend the vanilla cheesecake instead, to which I said that it was “the biscoff that was enticing me.” I ended up going for the vanilla cheesecake. When it was brought out I was pleasantly surprised and amazed that Dalia had done me a huge favour and made my regular vanilla cheesecake into a biscoff cheesecake. This was not at all necessary but it was absolutely wonderful. There was no need for her to do that for me but she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and loved the dessert (which I definitely did!). We spoke about it afterwards and she was lovely, kind and friendly. She is a credit to the team and made a wonderful day even better. Thank you for a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

We decided to come here for my birthday meal, and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived , we were greeted by friendly staff. The lady who looked after us for the evening, was amazing. She was so friendly, happy, and made us laugh. She also made my evening special by singing happy birthday to me, which was a sweet unexpected surprise. We will most definitely return, as service and food was amazing!

Me and my friend came in for dinner at around 6 ish on a tues night, was good food and good service, our waiter (can’t remember his name but he was wearing blue jeans) helped us a lot with our queries about the app as we kept getting confused, he was so so lovely and patient, we really appreciated his help! ☺️ manager on the other hand could have been more polite with us, maybe they had had a bad day but doesn’t excuse the harshness. aside from that had an enjoyable experience, kitchen staff waved goodbye as we left ☺️

Really nice staff and the manger Monica was very friendly. The food was also fresh and delicious. I always love coming to pizza express. I had to edit the review as we we came back again not only for the food but the staff Monica, Akash and Dailia were so welcoming and friendly :) thank you for making our visit so welcoming. They are also very family friendly which helped a lot. When we visit again we will sure come to say hello

My partner and I came into the Bournemouth Pizza Express on Saturday, we did not have a reservation, but was greeted with a wonderful waitress who was lovely. The service from this lady was wonderful, the best I have experienced in a long time and I felt like I had to leave a review as she needs to be recognised within the company. I stupidly forgot to get her name (we had a late night partying in Bournemouth), but looking at the reviews I'm assuming it is Delia. This lady knew her pizzas and helped us with our selection asking what we liked, she really is an asset to Pizza Express and was very passionate about her job. It was so refreshing to see someone truly happy in their job. I would travel the hour again just to book into the restaurant to see her. Pizza Express, this lady is wonderful, please look after people like this as they are like gold dust! ps great pizzas too! :)

Thank you to the lady that served us yesterday, curly hair, glasses - a pleasure to have been served by you and to the chefs and the rest of the team. We travelled from London for my sons 16th birthday. They made his day extra special by switching off all the light in the restaurant and singing him happy birthday with a surprise cake and extra dough balls. This is a memory that we will never forget - big love! thank you!
