Blue Mango

Wife and I popped in here after a late finishing show at the B.I.C. Friendly staff greeted us, restaurant was very quaint too. For starters we had Tom Yum and Salt n Pepper squid. The Tom Yum was creamy and delicious. The squid wasn't the best I've had (but I'm a connoisseur on squid) but at least it wasn't rubbery. You could really taste the Pepper which I appreciated. For mains, my Wife ordered Pad See Ew and I had King Prawn Pad Thai. Both tasted great! I would definitely come back again as the food is fully authentic and was great value for money.

My partner and I have been to Blue Mango a few times. The food is out of this world. For a start, the salt and pepper squid is THE best food that has ever touched my tastebuds. I have never eaten anything as delicious as that squid it’s unbelievable. I love seafood, their Tilapia Fillets are my favourite and come in two flavours. Both extremely nice. My boyfriend prefers the duck and it’s the best duck in town, we eat out a lot and have tried a lot of duck! All disappoint compared to here. After dining here, you realise the other Thai restaurants in Bournemouth are far more commercial. If you want the ultimate taste experience- it’s Blue Mango😬.

What, from the outside, seems like an unassuming little restaurant, reveals itself to be a genuine pearl of the orient. The service is fast, friendly and accommodating. The food is just fantastic and real value for money. The staff are amazing and cater to every whim. Definitely a place to go back to.

We walked in off the street without booking a table, and greeted in a friendly welcoming way. We ordered a main dish with coconut rice, with a couple of beers. The food arrived promptly and was delcious with ample servings. The rice was tasty as was my chicken jungle curry. Lovely level of spice and veg. Loved it.

This is one of the places where we will defenitely visit again. We went as a group of 8 people and every one loved their food! The green and red thai curry are a must try. The spices and chicken were so well mixed and cooked to perfection. There are different menus for lunch and dinner. Dinner obviously has more choices. There are a few restaurants on the street and this is a must visit if you like thai food. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and even were ready to customise a few options for us. Highly recommended!
