Tonic Social

Lovely atmosphere for an arranged event on a Friday night. They served lovely tasting pizza which was cooked to perfection, a DJ banging out the tunes creating a good atmosphere to have a boogy on the dancefloor. The only thing that let it down slightly was the speed of the bar serving drinks and the layout of ordering them. But would recommend for events !!

Tonic Social covers social distancing well and it isn't crowded at all which is why we went in. It is table service only, which is fine but it would be handy if staff were a bit more attentive to customers. It took quite some time to order our drinks, not because the staff were overly busy but more that they were talking amongst themselves at the bar. Our waitress was apologetic when she realised. It would also be handy to have a full bar list in terms of gun, whisky, rum and tonics. As customers aren't allowed to the bar, it can't be expected that the waiting staff know every label and type that is stocked.

Such a lovely little gem! We stumbled up on the bar and were pleasantly surprised by their delicious cocktail offerings and friendly staff. If you're in the mood for good vibes, good food, great music, delicious cocktails and great service then this is a must! It didn't feel touristy and despite the restrictions around Covid, the staff have created an awesome atmosphere. We first visited on Friday and went back on Saturday. Highly recommended!

Nice place to go to. Location is good, inside has an interesting lay out. Staff is welcoming and pleasant. I went there with a friend for the first time, they were doing a Japanese experience evening. Food was good and desert was unusual. Perhaps if online booking and email replies will pick up a speed that will help a lot. 4* is only for those slow responses and we got charged £8 for a mocktail, which is dear(as we were tired, didn't question it to be honest). A small pot of tea £4.40. Food menu though looked more appropriate with their prices. A couple of parking areas near by makes it easy to visit this establishment. Recommend!

We booked a work summer party with Tonic Social and they were great. They were so accommodating and did everything they could to make the night run smoothly. The drinks, food and atmosphere made for a perfect night. Every member of staff complimented the venue and it was a great success. I would definitely recommend using Tonic Social for an event, or just popping there for a nice evening!

Tonic social is the perfect place to go for a cocktail or two! The staff are polite and friendly (I was served by a young woman who was welcoming and prompt in making and serving the cocktails, thank you whoever you are!) The live DJs on Saturdays are so fun and leave a great atmosphere to sit and enjoy your drinks! Will always come here for a weekend cocky t :)

Absolutely love this place! It's a little bit of 'London' that Bournemouth lacked. The interior is absolutely to die for, and each corner offers a different feel. I come here most weekends for coffee and brunch with my friends and we all absolutely love it! The staff are super friendly too and do their best to provide an amazing service.
