My best bookshop is Waterstones, the castlepoint in bournemouth. I love it 🤍
Always love going to waterstones, laid out very well, went in with two books in mind & found them straight away. The staff member in that day was lovely & came straight over to serve me. Will definitely be visiting again the next time I'm in Bournemouth.
Went to coffee shop upstairs. Lovely young lady behind counter serving in flowery dungarees. Quite a queue but completely unfazed. Lovely leon donut too!!
Excellent selection or they will order Graphic novels downstairs. Great selection of travel books.
Bookshop & more, coffee shop upstairs. They just can't get the cappuccinos piping hot, but the service is superb, fast and friendly. A nice place for a quiet chill out.
Very cute little book store. The staff were amazing and helped us find the book we were looking for! They have a very nice Caffe upstairs which you can use to take whatever book you want out for a test drive. The stairs are very small and I tripped down them so I guess becareful guys 🥲
Absolutely gorgeous store, and really friendly and helpful staff! Very big with really nicely laid out sections, and it's got such a lovely atmosphere in there. The cafe is really nice too, and pretty reasonable. Asked for a book recommendation and was recommended a book that is really good!
The best bookshop in UK. Where you can fine everything ir you can order some book. Good cofe inside
A wonderful bookstore. Superb layout with easy-to-find sections, everything clearly labelled with loads of inspirational ideas dotted about and really lovely, helpful and friendly staff. A real pleasure to go there! 👍🏼
All good except for the tea!!
I really like the cafe (as well as the bookshop), situated as it is in the off-the-main-part of Bournemouth Square, in the arcade. The staff are sweet and friendly and I couldn't fault them at all. Where my big gripe is (and someone I mentioned this to said 'don't sweat the small stuff' about the issue) but why-oh-why do these seemingly decent cafes (not just this one, but many many in my experience, nowadays) completely fail to make a decent cup of tea?? What they do is put one single probably already completely tasteless teabag into a fairly big pot, and what comes out (however much you swirl it around desperately) is basically as flavoursome as dishwater. Apparently (according to the really nice young lady there) other people have made the same comment, and she's powerless to do anything as it's the policy from above. I hope they'll let me have the teabag in a cup in future (which I hadn't thought of asking for, as when I go somewhere new I get this hopeful feeling that finally I'll get a decent cup of tea, like the ones I make for myself at home with the cheap supermarket teabags haha!!). My theory is that this is a symptom of the general malaise in society and the downfall of civilisation. End of gripe.
