Kumpi - Next Level Baked Potatoes (cheesy Jacket Potatoes)

Decided to stop in Kumpi as needed a coffee and my daughter fancied the pancakes. Easy to order either on the interactive screens or at the counter. The guy in charge immediately came over to see if he could help. I must say he is a very welcoming host. Pancakes came out after a few mins and looked even better than the picture and came with a good size jug of Maple Syrup. Pancakes tasted as good as they looked. Amazing!!! Also, i like my coffee and often dont enjoy what i get served. But that was not the case here. Great cup of coffee and i really recommend the place. Very clean and tidy plus the food that came out seriously looked as good as the pictures. Now how often does that happen! In short, nice place run by a lovely warm and friendly guy. A very unique and interesting idea for a restaurant. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is nice and laid back. The restaurant itself is clean and modern, they also have self-service tills! The food is extremely good, a mixture of different jacket potato toppings ranging from beans to chorizo with sweet and regular potato options. Vegan options too! The juice and coffee options are also varied. Overall a great place to visit if you fancy something new. 5 stars.

as soon as we walked in we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who helped us with ordering as it was our first time. he walked us through every way to order and then took our order at the till. he was the nicest person i’ve had serve me in a restaurant. when the food came out it was delicious. they have a wide variety of food and drinks options and everything came out within ten minutes. we will both definitely be back most likely next week :)

Best Jacket Potato you can buy. Had the sweet potato with crispy BBq chicken and it looked and tasted exactly as the advertising would suggest, but even better. I had the pressed Juice too which was great because a lot of places the juice is just straight out an Aldi carton, but this was great and had all the heartiness of pressed juice. Had chocolate orange cake slice after too and that was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is to die for!! Jacket potatoes always seems so basic but my god I have never tried food heaven like it. I’ve been twice now and I’m still completely obsessed! As someone who is gluten and dairy free the options were endless and the staff were super friendly and helpful when ordering I’ve tried both the normal jacket and the sweet potato one with tofu and the other one with falafel with many many toppings and both times I was sent to heaven! The brownies are also incredible and I was amazed I could order them too with my intolerances! Best dinner for the best prices and I’ll definitely be returning in the future. Me and my friend are obsessed :)

This is now my favourite place to go for Jacket Potatoes, we discovered the Kumpi restaurant when we wanted something different from the typical Fast Food Burger restaurants. The staff were really friendly and they explained how the food was prepared, when the food arrived it was delightful, such a nice twist on Jacket Potatoes! I'd really would like to see more of these around the UK for sure!
