Nan's Place Cafe

We go to Nans place quite often for lunch and/or a drink. We have always found everyone who works there to be lovely. They are friendly and cannot do enough for you. Last night we decided to try one of Nan’s quizzes. It was such a fun evening. Even one of the tortoises made a brief appearance. Thank you Nan for bringing such a wonderful and vibrant cafe to Moordown.

What an amazing little gem of a place. The food is absolutely gorgeous!!! We've been a few times and have never been disappointed. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. When it comes to kids they are brilliant from setting up the high chairs and booster seats to cutlery and even offering a small chocolate at the end. Hot drinks come with a biscuit which is a lovely little gesture. The atmosphere is so nice and the decor is so warm. It does get busy and when you've been you'll understand why so always best to call in advance to make a booking.

What a cute little find. Just what you'd expect from a proper little cafe - friendly atmosphere, fab menu with all the things you'd expect. Fantastic different range of breakfast options and served til 2pm as well!!! Jacket Potatoes, Baguettes, Burgers, Sandwiches, Milkshakes, Coffee, Alcohol - there's something for everyone!!! Super family and dog friendly with an area to keep youngsters happy, and would be lovely to hire out for a private event like a Baby Shower or Wake. I'd have confidence the staff would look after you. We ordered the 'Nan's "Crikey are you gonna eat all that?" Breakfast' - fantastic value for money at £11.95 and it includes everything you need, and even a tea and coffee with it too. Fried Eggs were cooked perfectly, no runny white, but a lovely runny yolk, sausages were good quality! Coffee was tasty, and so cute that I got a chocolate hobnob on the side too! We also ordered a cream cheese and ham bagel, was lovely have 'proper ham' not just cheap stuff! My only constructive feedback was the bagel could have done with a bit of toasting or been a bit fresher. But this wouldn't stop us returning again to try some of their other lovely looking bits of the menu, maybe even a cream tea!

Great selection of food and drink, what we had was delicious too. Nice to see somewhere that serves a good breakfast till 2pm instead of 11am. Little kids play corner too with plenty to keep our 3 year old amused for a few hours. Super friendly service, like... genuinely friendly too, can't wait to come back.

Food was really nice, plates were hot which makes a good change! Reasonable prices Really pleasant atmosphere, facilities were clean with baby changing available, WiFi available. Vegetarian option came with veggie bacon rather than avocado which again was a nice change. Breakfast wasn't overly greasy which was good too! All in all happy to have chosen to come to Nan's place Will visit again. Thank you
