La Strada Bournemouth

My wife and I had lunch here today. We sat outside and enjoyed the cosmopolitan feel in the sunshine. We were greeted by Rose who was friendly and very welcoming. I had Pizza and wife had Pasta. We shared a bit of each others food on side plates supplied by Rose as I had requested. pizza and Pasta was authentic and truly delicious. We followed with home made Tiramasu which was perfect. Couldn’t fault this place at all. Great food, very welcoming and spotlessly clean. Couldn’t understand why it was so quiet on a Friday lunch…but it certainly shouldn’t be. Excellent 5 Stars. Lovely place! Me and my boyfriend came down for the weekend and we had dinner here, highly recommend the grilled salmon with vegetables and we absolutely love the atmosphere here, also service is great! Rose will be the one taking care of you, she is lovely and caring and looked after us just fantastic was an absolute pleasure ! Will be back in October !

My husband and I went here a couple of Wednesday's ago for our Anniversary. It was our first time and had a wonderful time with some amazing food. The service was 5 stars and the people that worked there were very friendly and helpful. My husband had the mini calzone and said it was the best starter he has ever had. Many thanks. We will definitely return.

The staff are wonderful (Rose and chef) Best calamari. Fresh. Chunky. Lightly battered. Pizza dough made on site. Light& fluffy. Leave room for dessert! Timinasu (spelling sorry) served in a coupe was hard to protect from the others!. Too good to share. My son who thought the food in Rome and Pisa; plus a Baffi loyal customer said 'this is the best Italian food I've ever eaten

As l was on a day trip from somerset. I.looked around shops etc. n decided to have a snack lunch n tried for the first time this cafe. Staff very friendly obliging n helpful. The lunch l had l enjoyed, after asking a Waiter when ordering, if l could have certain item, but without the 3 ingredients l didn't really like. No problem The snack lunch was well presented on a plate The pot of tea l had with a lovely cup n saucer was nice n hot. Even after my lunch n 2 more cups of tea it stayed hot. Which for me is rare as other places tea seems to lose its heat. Thank you - l will be back
