Incredibly thoughtful and kind staff, went out of their way to make us feel at home after a long journey. Arrived late on a Sunday night and were just as attentive to us as if we arrived during normal hours. Food was tasty and had a wide range of options.

Called in early evening I was the only in for the first 20 minutes. Food was piping hot and the service very quick. They don't serve alcohol but I'm not sure if you can take your own.

Very tasty food! Loved it all. Too good to takeaway in my opinion. Interior could be updated to enhance the experience.

Great food and very friendly staff. The inside of the restaurant is underwhelming, also to note that no alcoholic beverages are served. With that in mind, a great night out.

Definitely one of the islands gems, a must try if you like your currys and its surprisingly as good as the currys you get on the mainland if not better, if I do say so myself. :))

Great food, great service from smiling, helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for us and great food at a good price. What more could you ask for ? It was such a surprise to find a great Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant on the island. The place has a simple, unassuming frontage and inside the decor is plain and simple but there’s nothing plain about the extensive, interesting menu with lots of dishes I had never tried before. The staff were terrific explaining the menu and making recommendations and even though the place was packed with a great atmosphere, our food soon arrived. In fact at one point, even though we didn’t think we had been waiting for long, a waiter came out to apologise for our wait and to explain that our food would be ready in 3 minutes, wow, I have never had that service even in top restaurants. We ordered the Islay Special Tandoori which was excellent. All in all I thoroughly recommend this place so if you are in Bowmore, give it a try.

I’ve been to India and had some amazing Indian food in my life. I certainly did not expect to have Indian food of this caliber on a small town in Islay of all places. Absolutely incredible food. Very fresh tasting, not too heavy, and with a proper spicy kick. Even the naan and paratha were great. The lamb biryani was among the best executed I’ve ever had. Usually lamb tends to be overcooked but here it was tender and flavorful. A well deserved 5/5
