Was almost put off after reading the many reviews left by a disgruntled family.
SO GLAD we didn't because the food was good, generous portions and service was excellent.
Even though it was very busy, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Will visit here again next time we are
Great food! We had some great dal and shatkora lamb dish cooked especially for our Indian palate. The waiter were warm and welcoming. We engaged in lively conversations with them!
I ordered and collected, and by doing so and paying cash, I received a 20% discount which was great. The staff were efficient enough with my order. We had a brilliant curry, a bit like my first experience of curry restaurant from the 80s but not in a bad way. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We went for an early meal and it was still busy. Would highly recommend, if you enjoy a good flavoursome curry well worth a visit
We ate here late at night on our trip to the Lake District. The staff were sooo nice to our kids, even bringing them extra food and a dessert when we didn't ask. The food was absolutely delicious! We will be back on our next trip! Thank you!

The place is nice to have tasty food. The night we visited was very quite and I believe they were about to close the restaurant early. In hurry they took the order which was a bit strange.
