Love little B&B above their own cafe.
Very comfortable room. The mattress was awesome..we didn't want to get out of bed.
The owner couldn't do enough for us, very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic breakfast, my husband had the 'Full Monty' full English and I had the vegetarian full English.
Great location close to lake Windermere and many places to eat and drink in the town. The room was cosy and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Had breakfast here this morning. Wow, great service and great taste! The lady who greeted us instantly told us there would be a 20minute wait for a hot breakfast. Her timing was accurate and when it arrived it was of great quality, presentation and taste. Thank you!
Stayed for 2 nights in double room. proper old fashioned guest house quirky staircase rooms very comfortable en suites lovely bed very comfortable. Anca was wonderful host could not do enough for us. Added plus breakfast fresh hot and very tasty. This will be our first choice every time in Bowness.

Discovered a gem booking three large rooms last minute. Honestly think this place was better than any branded hotel franchise I've had to stay at, especially when considering value. Anca took care of everything, including health concerns of some of the group.

great b&b situated at the bottom of the hill in Bowness. The rooms were lovely and came with a large fan which was a godsend due to the hot weather. lovely staff and superb breakfast in a morning. Great stay and would definitely go again.
Visited the cafe for lunch today, it was lovely food and drinks, excellent, friendly, welcoming service. It was slightly higher in price than id like but it was excellent quality and quantity and its the lake district so you expect to pay a bit more! Lovely environment 👌
Cafe review: Second time we've visited and another lovely visit. Staff were really friendly and attentive, food was good as usual, shame about the bread the sandwiches were served with as it was just generic (cheap?) sliced loaf, which would have been better with just a nicer bit of bread. Me and my friend booked to stay here as our first weekend away since lockdown. I’m so glad I booked here! The location is PERFECT! 2 mins walk from the lake. The room itself was so cosy and really well decorated. We loved breakfast in the café, Anca remembered our breakfast order the second day and
Wondered in on the off chance after a quick bit of breakfast, didn't realise the quality of food served would be this high standard for breakfast. The list of different teas is also great, if ever in the area again, would gladly return.
Lovely little room, we stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the included breakfast at the café! Customer service was amazing. We will definitely be going back again x

Based right in the heart of Bowness. Free parking until 10am. Good value for money. Highly recommended.
We had nice stay very central, room clean an nice size, breakfast was included good offer cereals jucies, full breakfast or vegetarian few other options we would stay again.
Can't comment on the rooms as we didnt stay there but the breakfast was lovely, we were greeted with a great smile from a very friendly lady, service was excellent, highly recommend
Excellent b&b, great location, great room, very polite staff, would recommend, had a great relaxing stay.
Brilliant find, the 2 ladies we met couldn't do enough for us. Rooms are roomy, the beds are comfy & you can have a mug of tea, not a thimble like most b&b provide.
