Just returned from an Easter weekend break. The room was superb location was great breakfast and service was fantastic. Big thanks to Anca and her staff. Will be sèeing you again I'm sure.

Fantastic place .lovely staff always friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble .the rooms are all very clean comfortable beds and lovely showers and spacious highly recommend if your in Bowness stay here ideal location in the heart of everything

Great location close to lake Windermere and many places to eat and drink in the town. The room was cosy and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We had breakfast both morning at Montie's cafe downstairs and were very impressed with the range of breakfast options, the attentiveness of the waiters and the speed of the food.

Had breakfast here this morning. Wow, great service and great taste! The lady who greeted us instantly told us there would be a 20minute wait for a hot breakfast. Her timing was accurate and when it arrived it was of great quality, presentation and taste. Thank you!

Stayed for 2 nights in double room. proper old fashioned guest house quirky staircase rooms very comfortable en suites lovely bed very comfortable. Anca was wonderful host could not do enough for us. Added plus breakfast fresh hot and very tasty. This will be our first choice every time in Bowness.

Very comfortable room. The mattress was awesome..we didn't want to get out of bed.
The owner couldn't do enough for us, very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic breakfast, my husband had the 'Full Monty' full English and I had the vegetarian full English.

Discovered a gem booking three large rooms last minute. Honestly think this place was better than any branded hotel franchise I've had to stay at, especially when considering value. Anca took care of everything, including health concerns of some of the group.
Even made sure someone was around specially for the awkward time of day we had to arrive.
Extremely clean, recently renovated, and the largest room even had some fancy style with trimmings that would make other, overly fancy places think again about their offerings.
A great solid breakfast too, inclusive, at the café downstairs.

great b&b situated at the bottom of the hill in Bowness. The rooms were lovely and came with a large fan which was a godsend due to the hot weather. lovely staff and superb breakfast in a morning. Great stay and would definitely go again.
