This pub has recently reopened. We have family in Kendal and have stayed in Bowness every year for the last 30 years or so. Popped in Friday evening after seeing in had reopened. This pub has loads of character. The new owners super friendly. They are going to be serving food again soon. Love this pub will be back soon for a meal. Look it up when your in Bowness you won't regret it. A++++

Beautiful little pub with the cheapest drinks we’d experienced so far. We didn’t eat here unfortunately however the environment was wonderful and the hostess just lovely.

Extremely friendly pub with lovely staff and a great warm atmosphere to get away from the winter cold! Would definitely recommend when travelling to Bowness.
