We arrived and were greeted by host in the balcony, who happily offered to take our pictures and lead us to our table. The host knew our name and the special occasion we were celebrating without having to confirm our name/occasion.
The waiter was knowledgeable about the dishes and shared its journey with us, making the experience very exciting. The waiter remembered the order and didn’t need to confirm.
The table was frequently cleaned after each course, cutlery changed according to each meal and drinks were refilled.
We were the last guests in the restaurant and did not feel rushed at all by the staff. Instead they were patient and allowed us privacy rather than constantly monitoring us.
When the bill arrived, it was beautifully presented.

Great restaurant with a beautiful setting and wonderful service. My husband took me here for my 30th birthday and we had the most incredible meal, mostly recommended by a fantastic and experienced member of staff, Anna. All I can say is, wow! A treat not to be missed, thank you so much for the experience I will definitely cherish it.
Enjoyed our evening tasting menu, though the flavours sometimes came across too strong rather than well balanced. Can tell it's a Rogan restaurant. Absolutely stunning area and hope to return once the seasonal menu changes.
Impressive display and food is absolutely Michelin star standard. The staff were lovely, very professional services. Will definitely revisit if we are around Lake District in the future. :)
We came here for Sunday lunch. We were welcomed as soon as we walked through the door and had a drink before it started in a lovely bar area that overlooked the lake. There is an extensive drinks menu with many wines by the glass, cocktails and mocktails for those driving.
The food was excellent - michelin star level but with a very relaxed and casual attitude. The duck in particular was amazing.
During our recent trip to Windermere we enjoyed a wonderful culinary experience at Henrock. We were so impressed with the artistic taste and presentation of the food we ordered. The service staff were polite, professional and extremely knowedgable about the food that was served, The background music,, restaurant aesthetics atmosphere and ambience was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The food was exceptional. Maybe could have had slightly more savoury, as there is a lot of sweet stuff. But the cakes were so good.
The service was just ok, there were some minor communication issues with the staff.

Absolutely superb. Attention to detail, treatment from the staff and the food was simply delicious. Can't wait to come back - hopefully without our 7 month old next time!
