I went with 2 friends and their dog. They were stopping off as part of a long journey so we needed a quick meal. We received an excellent welcome and our drinks and meal were delivered promptly as requested. The presentation of the meal was first class and lovely to eat. The meal was excellent value for what we paid.

We have visited the place with the family👪 for Sunday roast. Very short distance from Brackley town.
👷♀️ Staf were lovely, smiley and very helpful.
🍺🍷A great variety of beers and wines.
🍲 The food was tasteful and reasonably priced, thinking of the average prices around Brackley There are also kids menu options.
🅿 There is a free parking area right next to the pub
🌳🌸🌺 There is a lovely garden with outdoor seating and a lot of space for the kids to play around.

Great find! Me and my partner have just recently moved to the area and were looking for a great place to call our local. Was lovely being able to sit in the garden and enjoy our drinks 🍹. The food was really nice and very good portions! And I have to mention the waitress lily, she was very bubbly and very helpful finding us a table outside 👍

Recently moved to the area and decided to visit The Chequered Flag for a meal after a long tiring day moving up from London. We were welcomed warmly and seated to a table. There was plenty of choice but we both opted for the fish and chips! What we both really enjoyed the most was the outstanding service we received from our waitress, Lily. She was extremely polite and friendly and really did go that extra mile to make our experience pleasurable. This will definitely be a regular of ours from now. Thank you.

I haven’t been to The Chequered Flag before as I don’t live local but was recommended it whilst in the area recently, and I’m very glad it was!
There was a great variety of dishes on the menu which was all affordable prices (along with the bar prices!!) The staff were all very friendly especially my waitress Lily. She was a very polite efficient young lady and always had a smile on her face. Quite honestly It was lovely to see a younger generation working hard taking pride in her work 😊
