Very enjoyable, only discovered it a couple of months ago. So far I have gone for the Korean chicken which is delicious. My wife has gone for steak, which on the last visit was a bit chewy. Very pleasant waitresses. With the 25 percent discount excellent value.

I've been to quite a few other Chef and Brewer pubs around the area, but none are as good as this one. The service was fast, with really friendly waiters and waitress. The pub was very well decorated having a warm welcoming feel about it. There's a large menu with something for everyone including lots of vegan options. Food was well cooked and very tasty.

Food was excellent and the service was fab,our waitress was really nice and attentive. For starters we ordered the sharing board, for mains we opted for Sunday roast rib of beef and the pork belly. Everything was cooked to perfection, I would highly recommend Shepherds House, its also dog friendly.

Had a lovely evening meal out with the family to celebrate my husband 60th. The food was lovely and the service was excellent. Great evening with the family. The Shepherd's House is becoming one of our favourite places to eat.

Popped in for lunch today (15/07/22) had a lovely super green salad with added salmon. Husband had the cheese and bacon burger and halloumi fries. Really tasty food, great service - would definitely recommend and we will be back.

I'd like to update my previous review from below from a 4* to a 5* we visited on Saturday night and recieved a fab service from a lovely chap named Jordan. Polite friendly service, defo a credit to his team. The food was fab, my dish was the seafood grill, and the fish was cooked to perfection, melt in the mouth. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it, the four of us were all very happy with the food and service, the place itself is lovely, had a recent refurbishment and it looks great, the outdoor seating area is fab. Really welcoming place and would definatley reccomned a visit. I've added some more recent pics also. The last 4 photos are the most recent ones, where youbwill also see 4 happily cleaned plates!!...Thanks again to Jordan for your service.

Really loved this place. Food gorgeous. Staff lovely. Spread out for seating so felt very relaxed. Dog friendly.....really dog friendly....
Only looses a star for being cashless. I hate not having freedom to use perfectly legal tender as I choose

It's been a while since we have been here. We decided to have the rump steak followed by the mini pud and coffee. The food exceeded our expectation as the Rump Steak was the best and most tender I have ever tasted. Would definitely go again.

I wish there was a bit more selection in food, apart from that the food tastes good! There were flies around but that's expected at this time of the year, good atmosphere but I suggest they change their platters for a bit more variety

Lovely food, great service, and plenty of spaces in and outside the pub to sit. Also enough space for parking.
The food prices were much more reasonable than many other place I have been to. Triple chocolate brownie was a delish! Highly recommend this place.

Dinner.
Went for an early dinner.
Had Salt and Pepper squid to start, it was nice little greasy but nice.
Mains were the special Pork Belly glazed with caramel, it was very good really Juicy and tasty.
I had the Ribeye steak,cooked to perfection and had a garlic and mushroom sauce. Really nice dinner. Service was ok ish, had to ask again for our drinks. But it was exceptional food.

It is quite hard to tell from my photo but you get quite a big portion with this dessert. The cheesecake is an individual one, rather than a slice and it cost £4.99 which is a pretty standard price for dessert at a Chef and Brewer.
