Really happy there's a decent Chinese in BoA now. Went as our usual was closed, and definitely switching now. Fresh chicken, not the usual rubbery stuff, fresh bamboo shoots not canned, nice crispy spring rolls and little fortune cookies too!

We've had a bad meal in the past but heard that there had been changes so gave China Town another try. We've now had two takeaways from here in the last month and I'm very pleased to day that both have been excellent.

Family holiday on the canal and this was an absolute find!
Moored up, phoned up to order and by the time we'd walked down (15mins) it was ready and still hot by the time we'd walked it back.
Absolutely delicious 👌 Really helpful on the phone with fussy eaters (plain noodles with chicken) and food intolerances (gluten free, diary free, chilli free, garlic free).

Lots of takeaway food in town but this one is my go to for a fast tasty meal. Love the wings and ribs!
Update. 4 years later and I think they have a new cook. A real improvement. Singapore noodles excellent. Ribs and wings better than ever. We'll done!

Ordered from China Town tonight, set meal for 4. Delivery was sooner than expected, the food was hot and every aspect of the set meal was delicious! Will definitely be ordering again, it was lovely!

Knowing how to cater for "best friends" invited for drinks and a nosh is always at risk if you've promised to order in for everyone thus relieving the host-stress - putting the responsibility for the food at least onto a "sub-contractor".
Anyway, our own single experience lately of China Town was around 7-8 weeks ago when we collected a very pleasant meal only to find a few weeks later that the restaurant was "re-opening with a new chef"!
So, tonight we took the plunge. Ordered on-line meals for 4; starters, mains and sides only to be shown "delivery in about 50 minutes".
Absolutely fine. We were in no hurry but we were amazed when the food turned up some 25-30 minutes after ordering. Quite likely Wednesdays are a little quiet but .."WOW".
The food was hot.... yes, hot, when so many deliveries are not quite. And it was all just totally lovely. 4 adults fully fed and all 4 happy - how often does that happen?
It is my honest belief that if China Town can maintain these standards of food and delivery then they deserve to flourish and grow.

New chef started recently, now it's a very good Chinese takeaway, just the aroma in the car on the way home was enough to convince me he knows his stuff. Highly recommended....

I find some of the reviews ill-informed and one written by a drunk, who was suffering from alcohol not food poisoning. This should not have been posted as it is offensive. China Town is an above average Chinese for a small town like Bradford. Who eats chips from a Chinese?
