Stopped at this wonderful little place between stops in the UK and what can I say! We arrived later on in the evening but were made to feel incredibly welcome and not at all rushed. The food itself was fresh, tasty and very well cooked. The staff were excellent and very approachable, and the ambience was great too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone.
We visit regularly and I only just got round to leaving a review. The food is always excellent and the staff are so lovely. No wonder they are number 1 choice in Bradford. Looking forward to our next trip.
Ate here with my daughter tonight having been a couple of times before. The restaurant doesn’t disappoint in the quality of the Thai cooking. The food is fresh and tasty and comes in really good size portions. The beef massaman is perfectly cooked a definite favourite for me. They are also very accommodating of my non spice loving daughter and were happy to make amendments to the menu for her. Will definitely return it’s a gem of a restaurant.
great place to have a meal !went to celebrate our anniversary and I must say this place was fantastic. Ordered a shrimp and also a rib starter ( I was hungry ) which was fantastic. And had a crispy sea bass for my main ..lovely food.Great atmosphere and the hosts were so attentive ..highly recomend!
I come here regularly and always enjoy the food and service. Absolutely delicious! Thankyou once again! Number one thai restaurant!
Amazing evening at My Thai. Warm, welcoming staff who made us feel like we’d been there so many times before! Lovely calm atmosphere with fairy lights, and music. The food is so flavoursome and the service was brilliant. We had the Bangkok taster menu... definitely some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The restaurant was full, but the service was still very personal and we did not feel rushed. Can’t wait to visit again soon :)
I have eaten here on numerous occasions with my friends and also had take-outs.
The food and the service have always been awesome.
On this occasion, I persuaded my husband to eat-in and he was very impressed by the whole experience.
Starters; hubby had Chicken My Thai Rolls and I had Tofu Tod - both were delicious.
Mains; hubby had the Sizzling Platter and said it was fantastic. I normally have Tofu Pumpkin Curry, which is always fabulous. This time I tried a different Tofu curry which was equally mouth-wateringly fabulous. We also had Stir-Fried Chinese Broccoli with Chilli & Ginger and Garlic Rice - I'm addicted to both of these!
All the above dishes were washed down with a couple of very cold, very refreshing bottles of Chang!
The ambience is lovely, warm and welcoming. Not only was the food superb - so was the service. Special thanks to Deanna.
I was reluctant to write this review because if everyone knows how brilliant this place is - I may not be able to get a table!!
Absolutely outstanding food and the staff are there to make sure you have the best experience you can. there is not enough i can say about this place,
Went here for a meal as we wanted something different to an Indian curry and we were totally blown away by the quality of the food.
Been to Thailand many times and the food here was exactly how it should be with first class service.
We had a lovely meal to celebrate a birthday and everyone enjoyed their meal. We all had starters, I had the Thai fishcakes with a spicy dipping sauce, hubby had crispy prawns & our daughter the chicken satay sticks. They were all yummy and the little cabbagy salad was a nice addition. We all had different mains and shared 4 rice & 2 noodles between 6. My meal was gang karee, a mild dish with coconut. It was tasty an delicious. The service was good, efficient & friendly & the woman was happy to offer advice on different dishes. It was good value, 6 starters, mains, & sides, 2 bottles of wine & 4 beers for £160. Will definitely return.
Really excellent food and the service is always warm and welcoming when we go. Can not fault it! The best My Thai in West Yorkshire.
As we were in Bradford for a concert we chose to eat at My Thai Restaurant based the favourable reviews we had read. First impressions were very good - the interior had a modern contemporary feel and soft lighting, and service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the 'sample platter' as our starter and it was truly excellent - there were lots of tasty snacks served with interesting dipping sauces. The main course however was a little disappointing as the taste of my green curry (Gang Kiew) was dominated by the spice heat - as a result the flavours of any accompanying ingredient were lost. Similarly my wife's fish cakes were fine, but nothing special. As we probably made some poor choices we'd happily try this restaurant again.
Ate here today and it was really pleasant. The restaurant was looking really nice and well lit, with fairy lights.
The staff were friendly and attentive and the food really was delicious. Well worth a visit!
Extremely friendly staff and good choice on the menu .
The food was unique and not easy to find thai hallal restaurants. All the family loves the food and price was mediocre but worth paying for a change.
Parking was at the rear and a steep ramp. Some off street parking nearby, and pay and display.
Would return for a different taste.
We visited My Thai for the first time on Saturday evening. We received a friendly welcome and the service from all the staff was amazing. We really liked this cosy restaurant which had a great ambience. We chose the Thai IPA to drink and ordered the pork dumplings for starters then for mains the chicken and braised beef mussamum curries. The food was outstanding. We had a good bottle of gewurztraminer white wine with our meals too. Overall we thought the food, the service and the ambience were excellent. We’ll definitely be back again
We usually visit My Thai for a meal every couple of months. The service is always wonderful and the staff very attentive. The food is consistently excellent and in all the time we have been coming here it has been amazing. The servings are more than enough and we usually end up taking something home with use. The prices are very reasonable indeed and for the quality of the while experience I would expect to pay more.
If you live in Bradford, or just visiting I highly recommend you take time out to go to My Thai.
We've been here twice over the past two months and both visits have been absolutely outstanding in both quality and speed.I am a creature of habit and so I had the same thing I had last time: pork dumplings and volcano duck (which is rightfully their most popular dish). My mother ordered a vegetarian Autumn Special which contained a starter platter, Tom Kha Soup, a huge curry and a glass of wine, all for the very cheap price of £17.50 pp. Very good value.
Service was friendly and prompt and the staff were courteous and helpful in decision making for some of the more indesicive amongst us, which is just the way it should be.
I can see the reason why this is the best restaurant in Bradford on TripAdvisor. Overall, it's exceptional. If you haven't been already, give it a try and love it. But for a word of warning, they don't accept tips in card.
Had a great meal at My Thai Bradford . The Autumn set meal was great value! All the dishes were really tasty!
We went for the first time last Thursday evening and I don't know why it took so long to try My Thai especially as I go past every day to and from work.
We had booked a table in advance and when we arrived there were already a few people dining.
The owner/staff were very friendly and explained the menu fully to us.
We chose the Autumn Special menu for £17.50 each - which consisted of a glass of house wine each, a selection of starters to share, a bowl of vegetable soup each and a main course each from a choice of three.
The presentation and the taste of the food was amazing. We couldn't manage all of our main course so we asked for them to be boxed up and enjoyed them the following day.
A really enjoyable evening and I hope it won't be too long before we make a return visit.
We were visiting Bradford on a trip from Scotland and enjoyed an excellent meal at this very friendly/welcoming restaurant.
Very friendly owner/staff - very good at explaining all the dishes, etc..
Having been lucky to have visited Thailand on a number of occasions over the years, this really is a great taste of The Land Of Smiles here in the UK.
Fantastic fresh ingredients/flavours - the Tom Kha Gai soup we enjoyed with one of the set-meal options was the best I have probably ever tasted. Spicy and fragrant with a hint of sweetness, that hit the right spot!
The Som Tum green papaya salad with prawns was also a mouthwatering dish that we enjoyed - zingy fresh flavours and succulent prawns.
When next visiting Bradford, we'll definitely be dining here again.
