A Bradfordian living in Norfolk for the past 18 years, I love visiting my family in Yorkshire and always try to have my "fix" of Bradford fish and chips.
I have tried many of the local chippies but have found Towngate to be the friendliest in the local area. Most importantly though, I believe they also serve the best fish and chips too.
I have also discovered that, having recently been tested and found to have slightly raised cholesterol, I have been able to check the nutritional values of Towngate's food on the West Yorkshire Analytical Services website. So I can now enjoy my fish and chips but still keep my saturated fats down
It's a win win for me.

Great food & great deals too. The staff are lovely, have been going to this Fish & Chips since a toddler. But have not been for years. Now will be my goto pick up when visiting the parents in Yorkshire. Other counties need to start asking people if they would like scraps(crispy batter) with there Fish & Chips. Yum😋👍
