Didn't eat here on this occasion. Had a look at the menu though. It seemed good. Nice selection well stocked bar.

Friendly ‘local’ it’s a great pub with pub style good with ‘2 for’ type deals & also I believe reduced prices for OAPs during lunch (but check that). If you like a quiet pint (I do) avoid televised sports events as it gets really busy and loud also I advise to BOOK a table for Mother’s Day etc - It
A real hidden gem. Food was beautiful, fairly priced and staff were really helpful.

Great food. Three hand pulled real ale. Very competitive ( cheap) price on one of the pumps. Busy atmosphere, good to see that even on a mid afternoon on a random weekday it is a bustling local.
Was a baby the first time I was taken in this pub and have visited many times throughout my life. It must be a few years since I last visited and the food then was terrible.
