Called in at 5ish for tea, great atmosphere, lots of family’s in enjoying meals,was lovely we all really enjoyed it from starters to mains and finished off with warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cream for pudding.

Lovely local pub. This was our first time, and the staff were so friendly. We only went for drinks this time, but the food looked and smelt so good. We will definitely be going back to have a bite to eat. The pub was clean, and plenty of seating was available inside and out. The drinks were well price and great variety to choose from. Sports on TV and the have plenty going on each week. 10/10.
Absolutely lovely food. Very friendly and professional staff. Can’t do enough. Atmosphere is great. Nice customers and calming atmosphere. Can have good conversation without roudy music. I highly recommend this pub.
Great food. Three hand pulled real ale. Very competitive ( cheap) price on one of the pumps. Busy atmosphere, good to see that even on a mid afternoon on a random weekday it is a bustling local.
Lovely pub ,staff very friendly food was lovely too maybe cook vegetables abit more ,I found them too hard otherwise Sunday roast was spot on.
Friendly ‘local’ it’s a great pub with pub style good with ‘2 for’ type deals & also I believe reduced prices for OAPs during lunch (but check that). If you like a quiet pint (I do) avoid televised sports events as it gets really busy and loud also I advise to BOOK a table for Mother’s Day etc - It is a pub so don’t expect silver service but you will definitely have a great time!

I've been coming here for quite some time now after relocating. What a gem to find!! Whilst I appreciate that cleanliness and quality are fundamental to a pub (which this place has in abundance), I consider service to be key for repeat business. The staff and management here are just the friendliest, kindest and most welcoming bunch of people I have ever come across in a pub setting. They're always happy to go the extra mile for you and ensure you're looked after and treated well. An absolute credit to the business.
The beer garden has just been given a great makeover with huge outdoor tv, great for sports with plenty of screens around, whilst also have smaller sections for quieter customers. Great range of drinks and food on offer. My only suggestion would be to either call ahead or get there early enough for the kitchen as sometimes it is closed earlier than advertised (sometimes due to be quiet, sometimes due to large parties).

Very good food, service was excellent and very attentive.
Was a baby the first time I was taken in this pub and have visited many times throughout my life. It must be a few years since I last visited and the food then was terrible. I'm pleased to say that the food was superb and the overall menu was varied and at reasonable prices too. Definitely worth another visit.
