Evette's One Love Caribbean Cuisine

This placs is amazing! We got curry goat and curry chicken both with rice and peas and tyen some dumplings. The food was so good, I couldn't stop eating. I loved the curry goat so much Evette brought me an extra little bowl (because I had the chicken). She was so lovely and accommodating, really quick service and just created a lovely atmosphere. I honestly can't wait to go back and try everything else.

I've been to Evettes a few times now. Every time the quality has been amazing. The portion sizes are great. The taste is really something else. The jerk chicken is quite possibly the best chicken I've ever had - cooked to perfection. Perfect amount of spice balanced with a beautiful sweetness . The curried goat is amazing and has the right balance of flavour and spice. It is slow cooked and tender. I am not one to leave reviews. However, I've been multiple times now and every time I am just blown away with how great it tastes. I've since bought it for multiple friends who have all loved the taste. One saying that it is unique in the combination and balance of flavours. Great comfort food that you won't find anywhere else for the price. Evette is also very friendly. I know I will come to one love for many years to come :) if you're curious just try it - you won't regret it.

I called in on my way back from Bradford to home in Halifax, I ordered curried goat, curried chicken and dumplings. I didn't eat it untill I got home and it was still red hot and tasted delish! There's like only 2 Caribbean take aways in Halifax but I'll be travelling back to Bradford to go here. The owner is lovely and very friendly, I'll definitely be back
