Mary Jane is an excellent waitress! She made the experience very enjoyable. Menu is simple. I chose the delicious open face turkey dinner. Sadly they ran out of mashed potatoes, so French fries were the only option and they were cooked perfectly! Look forward to returning for steak dinner special on Thursday night and Prime Rib special on Friday night. These are the only two nights they offer any beef dinner so hope its worth the trip back.

It's my second trip to the Hungry Bear and again it was great. It was a Saturday afternoon. My friend and I were out riding and stopped for lunch. We each ordered burgers and fries. I ordered mine cooked medium and it came out perfect. Pink but not bleeding in the middle. The service was great as usual. Anytime I'm up that way, this is my go to place!
