Decent , nice large fish and plenty of chips . Will be going again . Easy to park and just jump out and order. Sausage and chips. Very nice . Plenty chips.

You can’t get much for £4 these days, but you can get a mini fish and chips from Fletchers! Super, and just what I needed this lunch time, lovely fish, white, moist and flaky. Well done Fletchers! I’ll be back for more soon!

Everything from the way they are cooked to the delivery process its just A1service 5 stars all round ill never use a different chippy for the rest of my days.
As a regular customer of Fletchers Chippy I have never been disappointed. The food is always to high standard and the staff are always lovely. I've noticed the post complaining about mask wearing. I have to say that every time I have visited, staff have abided by the rules. One wears a mask, one wears a visor and the other lady displays an exemption lanyard which by the way she isn't required to wear, she chooses to. There are adequate measures in place such as screens, signage. You will always get that one customer who is never happy, but please don't be put off by that.
Update: 22nd March 21. Been for lunch, as I used Google to pre call my order, I saw a post on covid masks. After being in, one lady has a visor and is more than 2 meters away at her closest. The other member of staff is behind a screen and mask exempt. I felt totally at ease and all social distancing and covid regulations are being followed.
Fish and chips are a good price and they also have a loyalty card. Spend over £6 to get a stamp, get ten stamps and you get free fish and chips.
Size and batter on fish was perfect for me. Although if you like less batter on your fish, just ask, I'm sure they'll oblige

On a recent trip to Yorkshire, my wife and I decided to have fish n chips for dinner which is a rare treat for us these days. We were lucky enough to stumble upon Fletcher's fisheries and ordered 2 fish and a small portion of chips. When ordering, I was asked if I wanted scraps with the fish to which I replied yes of course I do, I considered it a bonus. It reminded me of when I was young and every chippy gave scraps away. The chips were golden brown and not a pale yellow like they always seem to be these days and the fish was of a decent size and good quality just like it used to be and cooked to perfection. It was the best fish n chips I have had for years. As you can see, I cannot praise Fletcher's enough and Will be going back for more very soon.
Great food, chips were lovely and not at all greasy, battered sausage had plenty of crispy batter and awesome gravy, will definitely be visiting again.
Lovely fish n chips and plenty of options of curry sauces. They even do gluten free batter for fish n curry sauce which is so yummy. They do card payments now and also on just eat. Thanku fletchers well nice fish n chips
Great fish and chips best fish butty I've had. Best to download app and order as fish cooked fresh so if not you will have to wait.
