What a beautiful place to have a drink and a meal on a fabulous hot summers day. Barn 1 was a lovely spacious and secluded (location wise), bar and restaurant with an authentic natural countryside atmosphere. Location is ideal for outdoor nature photography too. The staff was friendly and service was fast. The outdoor view of the golf course alongside the colourful holiday homes was so beautiful. Would definitely recommend for a drink and a light lunch/starters and a beautiful drive through the country park to get here. Toilets were clean and spacious. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful outdoors. Would love to come back to try the carvery some day soon.
First time we have eaten here, came recommended for the carvery so thought we would give it a try. Two size plates for carvery, Reg £13.50 Lge £15.00. We all had a regular size which was more than enough as the plate was large. Choice of beef, pork, gammon or turkey carved for you, good selection of vegetables including red cabbage, nice for a change, roast and new potatoes, only complaint there wasn't any mash potatoes. Food was all hot and tasty. Desserts all £5.
Pleasant surroundings with a restaurant feeling, they were still busy even though service was coming to a close. Staff friendly and service good.

Our meal was absolutely delicious. Hubby had steak and it was cooked exactly as he likes it and I had skate which was so good. We'd pre-ordered as there were eleven of us. My meal came minus the samphire but this was soon rectified and it was perfect. Couldn't fault the meal or the service and everyone had an excellent meal.
We’ve had a few great experiences here for Sunday carvery. Yesterday we were enjoying another great meal when my father fell poorly (nothing to do with food I should add!). The staff, particularly the owner, couldn’t do enough to help and even offered to get my father to the hospital as the ambulance would’ve taken too long. Glad to say my Dad is doing well, thanks to the staff and a nurse friend that helped. The food is great, good choice of meats, nice quality and really tasty. The service is also fantastic, the owner takes pride in the service he and his team offers. This is now our choice of restaurant when we are looking for a carvery. Would definitely recommend.
Hi we visit the barn 1 Caldecott with friends & care workers at manor court lowestoft to have a boxing day meal with drinks & entertainment jazz swing music we had enjoyed our day out today much appreciated enjoyed the food & drink & enjoyed the entertainment

Had a lovely lunch soup which was very nice, coffee and tea available, good choice in alcohol available, plenty of room inside and there was also plenty of seating outside, menu look good in choice, there bacon and sausage baps looked good value, Two large TV screens either end of the barn, but they wasn't intrusive and the sound was down thankfully, overall a pleasant experience, lady staff member was very pleasant.
A busy but well managed carvery. Food was very good and service was friendly and efficient. The building itself is beautiful. Would definitely recommend. Outside space will be great too.. when it stops raining!

Once we found it in the dark (🤣🤣), we had a wonderful meal Saturday (21st Jan) night as a birthday treat for my wife along with a couple of friends. Fantastic staff, great food.
In fact it was so good we came back next day for the carvery. Exactly the same quality service and the food was terrific again. I can see this becoming a regular Sunday haunt.
