Lovely cafe in a gorgeous setting. We were lucky to visit on a beautiful day and watch the water fall. Could have happily sat for hours but had to continue our journey back to the south!

Lovely dog friendly place to have lunch or coffee and cake. Great range of vegan or gluten free choices. Lovely wood burning stove made it lovely and warm. Views out over the river were lovely and the outdoor seating area in summer is lovely.

Great location and lovely food. You must go out the back doors into the balcony which overlooks the river. We were there when it was very busy and the queue to be served lasted about 25 minutes. I think they need to update their ordering system. Other than that it would have been perfect. Great that it is dog friendly too.

Great breakfast and a view to boot! Staff are very friendly and attentive. Best bacon… dark yellow yolk eggs… lovely multi grain toast.. wow the sausages…loads of beans… top notch coffee. It could not be better! I highly recommend The Bothy!!

Stopped off here for breakfast, we thought it would be quiet the end of November but it was a little busy, two of us had the big breakfast and others had the veggie options. All was fantastic and plentiful. Great menu and beautiful views of the river. Also dog 🐕 friendly.

Popped in for some lunch on a lovely sunny day, so sat outside and enjoyed the quiche (chicken & bacon)(pear& courgette with a hint of chilli) & salad followed by scones,jam cream & coffees. All delicious in pleasant surroundings.

First time here and thought it excellent. Great to get a pot of tea as one cup is never enough and their homemade scone was just cracking. Lovely decor and views. Great spot to stop for a refuelling!

On a découvert The Bothy en juillet 2017 ! Au passage pour rejoindre Tomintoul. Et ben du coup, nous avons refait la route 2 fois dans la semaine pour y prendre notre petit déjeuner car le service, et le Breakfast sont juste au top !!!!

Having travelled up from Fife for the day, had soup and a sandwich yesterday with our dog. VEGEATABLE BROTH was amazing and BBC ie Brie Bacon and Cranberry panini was a delight. Will def be back and recommend.
