Beautiful cafe with a shop selling sports gear for various activities. Excellent vegetarian/vegan breakfast and lunch fare and such a warm, welcoming ambience! Stopped here to have some breakfast in the beautiful and picturesque town of Braemar.

Wow! The best Scottish Breakfast ever. Round sausage, rather than square, but no complaints. Dog friendly, and an amazing view of the river.

Great location and lovely food. You must go out the back doors into the balcony which overlooks the river. We were there when it was very busy and the queue to be served lasted about 25 minutes. I think they need to update their ordering system. Other than that it would have been perfect. Great that it is dog friendly too.

Lovely cafe in a gorgeous setting. We were lucky to visit on a beautiful day and watch the water fall. Could have happily sat for hours but had to continue our journey back to the south!

Lovely café in Braemar. Really nice staff and fantastic food. The full breakfast is amazing, both the meaty and the veggie one. Highly recommend to come here!

Lovely dog friendly place to have lunch or coffee and cake. Great range of vegan or gluten free choices. Lovely wood burning stove made it lovely and warm. Views out over the river were lovely and the outdoor seating area in summer is lovely.

Stopped off here for breakfast, we thought it would be quiet the end of November but it was a little busy, two of us had the big breakfast and others had the veggie options. All was fantastic and plentiful. Great menu and beautiful views of the river. Also dog 🐕 friendly.

Fantastic cafe with okay coffee and exceptional cakes. The food here is very good especially the soups. Well worth a stop for a bite to eat and drink.

Great breakfast and a view to boot! Staff are very friendly and attentive. Best bacon… dark yellow yolk eggs… lovely multi grain toast.. wow the sausages…loads of beans… top notch coffee. It could not be better! I highly recommend The Bothy!!
