Outstanding accommodating very friendly staff. Food is so delicious, tasty local produce, cooked to perfection. Lovely setting and ambience with a real log fire. With gins and whiskies galore. Will be returning soon.
Great place to stop for a good feed. The staff are attentive, the food was delicious and the drinks were cold!!
Lovely dog friendly pub, staff great and food good too. Bit disappointed with the nachos for sharing, lot of crisps and not much fillings. Chicken kebab was lovely and fish and chips pretty good too. Definitely worth a visit ☺️

Fantastic pub and kitchen, we spent a few nights in there Matt is a great guy always friendly and great at recommending some great whiskies. The pub has a great atmosphere, lovely area with some leather sofas next to a wood burner.

Fantastic food and service. Quality was great, and all well cooked! We stopped off here on route so was an amazing find. Would come back. Venison casserole was a taste of home, meat was perfectly cooked. Chicken with haggis was really good too!

Just popped in and so pleased we did, the staff very good and found us a couple of places at the bar, had chicken stuffed with haggis and whiskey sauce, exceeded expectations and so did the bill when it arrived, reasonable, as staying nearby intend to return to repeat the experience!
Came here twice in one weekend. Beef cobbler was a wee bit tough and fatty but on second visit I went for the chicken breast tower burger - absolutely terrific. Good value for money and lovely staff.
Cracking little place, I don't give 5 stars willingly, but, warmth, service and quality are great here, spinach and mozzarella ball starter, followed by a haggis suede and tatties main, all washed down with some fine ale. From the outside the hotel looks very drab,
but you walk inside and the whole place sparkles, customers all appear to love the establishment and what's not to love, the beer is good, a wide range of spirits, the food is excellent and the staff are exceptionally helpful always smiling and cheerfull.
We went in for food while glamping and our youngest who has ASN was having a bad moment and the staff were so helpful and reassuring even when we offered to move outside to not disturb the other guests. And the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend
Great atmosphere and lovely food. We were all welcomed and the dogs were particularly well recieved.
