First visit to this new bar. Went for house best bitter ( Weetwood brew it.) Really surprised how much I liked the bar. Excellent pint in a lovely bar. The all weather seating area to the rear needs to be seen and visited. Has its own bar but real ale in front bar only. Bramhall is much improved with this bar. (Opened Sept 2020.) Upstairs is a slightly separate middle east vegan restaurant..Otto. meat esters stay downstairs.
A good choice for almost any time of day and most moods. Different seating areas make for different experiences so that its almost like visiting a different pub every time. Open air seating is a plus. The food is well-prepared and strikes a good balance between originality and traditional pub food. Most staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuine. Younger staff not so much.
I had a lovely birthday meal with my son and his girlfriend. We all enjoyed our meals. The small plates are an excellent idea and are bigger than you think! It was busy and a little noisy for me. But I still enjoyed it a lot.
My Sister and I popped in for lunch, without booking prior to our arrival, on Saturday 4th of June. We were seated in a lovely spot at the back of the garden room (with retractable roof - which is impressive on a warm, sunny day!).
We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari with Wasabi Mayo, The Chicken and Halloumi Skewer and the Steak Frites... the food was delicious and the service from Guilio and Amy was first rate - really attentive and friendly but not intrusive.
We also had the 'Can't Grumble Rhubarb and Marmalade Crumble' with custard which was huge for £10 (the custard could have done with a little more cream in as it was light but that was the only thing we would have changed!).
The portions were that generous that we asked Amy to box some up for later to avoid waste and she did so willingly and in a little foil basket which was a joy to behold!
Thanks again for a great experience, we/I look forward to visiting again soon.
We love this bar and restaurant.
The staff are so welcoming and the food is adventurous yet familiar. My current favourite dish? Chicken Cordon Bleu with fine green beens, buttery mash and a rich sauce.
Passionate people, providing a great destination and a lovely spot for locals.
The Sunday lunch is outstanding.
Really decent pub to come to for a couple
of drinks. The beer choice is varied and there appears to be plenty of choice of wine and spirits too. We ate at Otto Vegan Empire (above floor) which was excellent so can’t comment on the food at the Crown. Friendly staff too and cosy atmosphere

Visited the C&C on Sunday for lunch with Family and Friends and had a superb time. The hosts were excellent, the food and drinks simply great (good value too). The vibe of the place was cool and much helped by the live music being sung by a very talented lady called Alicia. Highly recommended establishment for its relaxed atmosphere and great service!
Delicious food and friendly staff.
We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with 14 friends and family. Paula, the general manager couldn't have been more helpful in the run up, with helping out with pre-orders, decorations and storing the cake. The food was absolutely delicious and hot and everybody said how great it was.
Excellent service from friendly happy staff, nothing was too much trouble. The food and drink (wine) was great and fantastic value for money. We will certainly be returning. Thankyou 😊
