We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with 14 friends and family. Paula, the general manager couldn't have been more helpful in the run up, with helping out with pre-orders, decorations and storing the cake. The food was absolutely delicious and hot and everybody said how great it was.

Really decent pub to come to for a couple
of drinks. The beer choice is varied and there appears to be plenty of choice of wine and spirits too. We ate at Otto Vegan Empire (above floor) which was excellent so can’t comment on the food at the Crown. Friendly staff too and cosy atmosphere

I had a lovely birthday meal with my son and his girlfriend. We all enjoyed our meals. The small plates are an excellent idea and are bigger than you think! It was busy and a little noisy for me. But I still enjoyed it a lot.

Always a great vibe but was there most recently for a private party. Fabulous venue for such.
Called in (booked online to be sure) for dinner on a Tuesday night, with an overseas colleague from work. It really is a great menu, good quality food and my visitor enjoyed the choice of beer. Thoroughly recommend.

Asked the lovely team to send a dessert with a candle to my Dad for his birthday (I phoned up & pre-paid from London) and they very so helpful and even put a candle in and sang for my Dad. He text me later to say it had made his day and the food, service and yummy dessert was outstanding. Thank you for making his day so special.
