If I could give it 6 stars I would!! The best food we ate during our stay there and in the surrounding areas. Lake District Etc. The owners were very friendly and seemed to love what they do. Furthermore, the prices compared to the quality of the food are quite low. Vfm!!
We were staying on the High Hall Farm campsite and wanted to sample some local food and atmosphere. We decide to go to the Blue Bell Inn. Food was fantastic and we loved the portions sizes. Proper home made food, delicious. We also enjoyed a game of pool which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Beautiful pub , I was in a year or so a go and the pool team playing were so funny. There was a man called David who at first appeared very weird but once got speaking he was a very interesting man. Kind and friendly pub which nice food.

Awful female owner who is nasty to staff and insulted my wife, won’t be returning and will be telling other people the same. If you want to stay in business maybe learn some good customer service skills or compassion??
