Dog friendly.
It's worth a visit here if you can get in!! We turned up on Tuesday evening around 5.30 pm and got the last table. We were able to get the dogs in.
The food was delicious and the service was so quick!!!
My husband and I had a share of two pizzas, garlic bread, and margherita pizza with ham. This was cooked in a proper pizza oven as we could see into the kitchen. Affordable pizza and can order to takeaway if you can't find a seat!
Two of my family members had chicken salad. One family member had fish n chips, which they all enjoyed.
My husband had pigs in blankets as a starter.
I had a treacle for dessert, which was so yummy.
They also had a whole rum menu, which was delicious. I had a try of the Norfolk Rum with pineapple juice, which was delicious.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
Always a winner. Great food, great people, but more importantly great rum.
Each time I visit I like to try a new one. Plenty more visits left in me!
Love the Jolly Sailors, always great food and wonderful service from the fabulous staff here. Dog friendly too.
This is an absolutely great place to come in the summer with the family. You could tell from the off it was going to be good with the sheer amount of people there. Fully booked inside and out. Food was very good, quick service. Good amount of options also. Staff were extremely friendly. Stones throw away from the beach also. Would definitely come back.
Called in at lunch time purely on chance with one of my cousins and his wife visiting from Australia
A table was made available very quickly and my cousin and myself both enjoyed a traditional.sunday roast...something he hasn't had for many years.
His wife choose mussels which were perfectly prepared.
Although a very enjoyable lunch.
No faults.
Everything as great as it could be right down to the singing bar staff and lavender scented hand wash.
Now, I didn't go into the actual pub as the pub is pretty much outside in summer with a fully equipped bar and enough seating to accomodate the whole village.
Dogs are made especially welcome with their own water bars and free biscuits (Oh to be a dog!).
Service is friendly and welcoming with renditions of many oldies including 'it's raining men' and some classic Steps.
I noticed they have live music and entertainment weekends in peak months including an unmissable Sea Shanty live music weekender (Nelson would be pleased).
Right, for the food and beer.
Excellent. Real value for money, no waiting, fresh cooked and big portions. A few specials offered each day alongside a large pizza menu and takeaway.
I had a very large bowl of blue cheese tagliatelle and spinach which more than satisfied this little piggy. (£12)
The 10oz Norfolk gammon, duck egg and chips would have fed a large vessel of many Jolly Sailors. (£11)
A 21st century pub with 18th century charm!
Popped in for lunch and a drink with great friends and to bid farewell after a lovely few days spent together. Food was good and drinks too. What kind of pub plays tracks from 'chutes too narrow' by The Shins? Massive thumbs up for this place! Will be back for sure when in the area once more...
Came in for a lovely lunch , nachos and pulled pork burger are amazing highly recommended, quick and friendly service with big portions!
Great pub with huge beer garden. This pubs beer garden is amazing. A number of different bars to order from, indoor and outdoor. The staff are also super friendly and chatty.
When I visited there was an Abba tribute band playing in the evening which was nice.
Overall great pub and reasonably priced drinks.

The pork they smoke on site makes an amazing burger. The fries were good too and drinks fine, but I don't understand why the coleslaw needed to be in little disposable plastic cups. I'm a big fan of a washable ramekin
The play area for kids is great, too. Our daughter loved it.
Baby change facilities are not amazing, very cramped inside one of only 2 cubicles of the ladies' loos, and there was no offer of a highchair, even though I put a request for one on the booking form and saw other children in them as we were leaving, so they do exist. I had just assumed they mustn't have them, so I didn't bother trying to ask.
We came back for ice cream the following day as we were limited on options in the area, and we enjoyed our ice creams, too. Not a huge selection, but we all enjoyed them. Only plain wafer cones /tubs are available, though, and I prefer a waffle cone. Picky.
