Tillys Tearoom

Tilly’s came and did the catering for our external event, they delivered and set up the food and it was honestly amazing, I kept having people coming up to me and raving about it, especially the scones! I honestly thought i’d over catered but apparently not cos virtually nothing was left! Will definitely be using them again and I imagine family and friends will be too after yesterday! 🤍

Stopped here for lunch on the way to the coast and had a lovely lunch - home cooked quiche and ploughmans (inc baked ham) were delicious and very reasonably priced. Nice old building and dog friendly. Only slightly disappointing thing was the price of the coffee - £3.80 for a very average weak latte seemed extortionate and out of proportion to the price of the food. Would come again if passing through. Looked in most of other places in Brandon and this was by far the nicest

Lovely lunch with friends. Initially seemed like they'd lost our booking as the member of staff looked confused. Took a while to be served and no menus on the table but they were very busy. Ordered a jacket potato but told they'd run out. ??(Tesco and Aldi 5 minutes away for potatoes)? Having said that, all our food and drinks, including lasagnes and gluten free toastie, cakes,teas and (very thick)milkshake were lovely, very fresh. So nice to have a decent choice of gluten free. Staff very pleasant and although we sat chatting for ages we never felt rushed. Pleasant atmosphere with lots of knick knacks and treats to buy. Have been before and will go again.

Fabulous tearoom in a lovely building, so cosy inside and smells amazing as you walk through the door. Really pretty inside too with cute decor. Vintage teacups and plates. I had a homemade egg mayo sandwich on granary bread, which came with a freshly made side salad and crisps, I also had a cup of tea which was served in a teapot. The service ladies were so warm, welcoming and friendly, service was fast and food was appetising to the eye as well as my taste buds. If you're in Brandon you need to stop into Tilly's, you won't be disappointed!!

Tilly’s was nothing short of amazing. Very fortunate that myself and my partner won their most recent competition through Facebook, it was also both our first time in a tea room and certainly our first ever afternoon tea also. Tilly’s felt inviting from the moment we walked in the door, smell of freshly baked cakes filled the air, staff were very friendly and we were seated and seen to very fast. The afternoon tea itself was delicious, freshly made chicken and bacon sandwich’s, a cheese and fruit scone and then some very tasty cakes. May sound a bit cliche to say that it was also the best tea I’ve ever tasted. Shall definitely be back again.
