Wow where to begin........ absolutely beautiful venue, amazing food, fantastic staff they couldn’t do enough for you.
After searching different venues for our wedding the Fold ticked all the box’s for us with location, food, and ethos.
We had an absolutely fantastic day and so many of our guests commenting how wonderful the food was and how attentive the staff were.
Special thanks to Amy the wedding coordinator, who helped us through every stage. Amy your amazing !! Nothing was too much trouble and helped the day run smoothly.
Thanks again

I love teaching my Iyengar Yoga classes at the Fold; Tuesdays 7.30pm to 9pm and a new trial class starting 18th June on Mondays 9.30am to 10.45am for 4 weeks (£20). The room is such a wonderful space for people to explore and develop themselves in so many ways and resonates beautifully for Yoga.
Attended the Fold for the first time in July as a trader selling carnivorous plants for charity. I found the venue very well laid out with the stalls under cover, which is always nice when its wet or windy. There was good foot fall past mine and all the stalls, you did not feel you were stuck off in a corner or out of the way like some places. The barn also had toilet facilities and a tea area for trader refreshments.
There was a nice mix of other stalls in attendance with products varying from food, arts, crafts, cloths, etc. Although I was busy with my stall once the market started I did manage to walk around before hand.
All in all I think the Fold layout and facilities were excellent. As a trader it was a very successful day for my carity course and as a customer I think it would be a very good market to attend.
Visited The Fold for weekend of training. The venue holds many arts and crafts shops, café, barn for events, on-site camping with eco toilets and showers all surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. River walks and fishing spots all add to the enchantment of the pristine keeping of the grounds. Outstanding display of plant varieties also lend themselves to a truly beautiful location, well managed and environmentally conscientious.
Stopped into this place on the way back from visiting friends and it was such a gorgeous site. We popped to the farm shop primarily to see what was on offer. There is a huge selection of products from local businesses from beer to relishes. There were lots of organic food with lots also catered to food intolerances too. Overall a really lovely shop. The only down fall is I would have liked to have seen more fresh goods on sale.
On site there was a lovely cafe, a therapy centre and art studios. I noticed on the way out they had a few nature trails too which I will be back to wander around next time.
The site had a large carpark to the rear which was a bonus. All in all worth a visit and will be back to explore the trails.
Literally a hidden gem! 💎
Amazing veggie/vegan menu including the biggest pain au chocolat I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to return to explore the trails in the sunshine and explore the menu more!
Vegan chocolate fudge cake and vegan pain au chocolat with oat milk tea was perfect 💛
Had a lovely walk and then lunch.Wonderful quiche and salad. Excellent value for £8.50. coffee was first class. Staff so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
An amazing venue for camping. Really nice natural spaces and a lovely cafe, market and such lovely staff and volunteers.
One of the nicest holiday venues I’ve had in ages. I can’t wait to come back.
Stunning walks on their nature trail. The lake is lovely and you could even see large fish swimming about enjoying their day. Railway walk is a cute wooded walk with lots to look at. Will be back soon :)
What a great experience!
We were actually at the Fold as traders, however the atmosphere, the people and venue is amazing!
The market has so many amazing small businesses with fantastic items. You can make a day of it as there is food, trails, the market, cafes and waterways.
Easy to get to, family and pet friendly, lovely people, products and scenery.
There was a Well Dressing Fayre on at the Fold. We had lunch then wandered around the Fayre and other galleries and workshops on site. The food was lovely, the coffee superb and the afternoon was spent enjoying the stall and music at the Fayre. I would go again just for the cafe and would certainly be happy to attend another event in the future.
Friendly staff and top quality drinks and cake in beautiful surroundings. We are vegan and were happy to have the choice of 3 plant based milks (soya, almond and oat). We also enjoyed the chocolate and courgette cake which was hands down the best choc cake I have ever eaten vegan or not.
It is a tad on the expensive side - for 2 coffees and 2 pieces of cake it came to just over £11. Would definitely recommend and go again though.
The surrounding walks are lovely and the farm shop is well stocked. Parking is also free.
